Basically a fancy dormitory for gamblers. The shower was just wonderful. No matter what the thermo setting, it blew cold air on your head all night. The pillows were like bricks. The handicapped parking is the closest, but still a long walk to the hotel. The signage is bad. To get to the hotel from the west, you have to go over a bridge and make a U-turn onto a busy highway. No signs anywhere. Our water view included 24 travel trailers parked behind the hotel. The front desk people were very, very nice. Other than the front desk people, the hotel was not warm and inviting; but cold and sterile.

Went to Whidbey for a birthday party, and this was close. Nice clean room, smoke free!!! Enjoyed the view of the bay. Slept well. Parents were down a run and enjoyed it as well. Nice to be able to go down for food and drinks. Want to come back and spend a little more time.

Stayed here on the first night of our road trip. It is approximately a 90 minute drive from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport and is very easy to find. It is located right on the coast and has a very large free parking area. The staff are very friendly and efficient. The rooms are very large, comfortable, and very quiet. Our room overlooked the bay and the view was lovely. We did spend a little bit of time in the ******, which was great fun, but we were sensible and set a strict budget. We ate in the Sports Bar and Grill which served very good food and very very good value.

Very unhappy. I used the website to book a night's stay. The cheapest room on a Tuesday, off-season, was listed as $107. I very specifically booked a "Bayview" room, which was $169. I failed to read the fine print, which DOES NOT actually state that the "Bayview" room indeed overlooks the water. I was given the key to a room with a lovely view of the parking lot. Didn't even drop my bags and went back the the desk to find out what was going on. I do not remember the name of the employee I spoke to, but the name tag did say 'Manager'... I was informed that the $107 ADVERTISED rate is the Government Rate, and $169 is the regular rate, for a view of the parking lot. I was not given a price for a room overlooking the water, not given any any opportunity to change rooms, so I just handed over the room keys and had the payment removed from my credit card. This is a classic not-quite-false advertising scheme. It was really too bad, because the place seemed nice and I was ready to spend a good chunk of money in the ******.

Swinomish ****** and Lodge 12885 ****** Drive Anacortes WA 98221 September 7th 2024 There was an incident last night and the police came to my door saying if I didn't bring $2,000 back that a ticket spit out of the machine that I was playing on, that I cashed, I was going to be arrested. Apparently someone left money on the machine I didn't notice I just cashed it. Went to another machine and played for a while and left. Came home over 3 hours later 3 police banging on my door. Needless to say I will be there tomorrow to return the $ because I'm not going to be arrested for someone elses mistake. Which will be Sunday I don't know if you're going to be there or not but you can definitely cancel my reservations for the birthday dinner. And I will never set foot in your ****** again and I will put the word out that it is the worst place in the world. Distraught local patron older lady

The room was awesome, but the shower head needs to be cleaned! Water sprayed everywhere. The glass enclosed shower was amazing though! Carvers restaurant had a couple issues: my breakfast was cool not hot (I think my masked Asian waiter forgot about me), my bacon cheeseburger came without bacon and I hope I only paid for a plain cheeseburger!
