Same poor experience for the last 10 years. If I had my choice, I'd never pick this property, but since it's a business trip, the company has the final say. Typical stays per month is about 2-4 nights. The fitness room is still in the same sorry state as it was 10 years ago, rusting weights, machines, soiled benches, floor..etc. Some equipment have broken handles, and plastic pieces, sharp posing a hazard to the unwary. Don't know if they even wipe or clean them at all, after all these years. A wireless printer available in the lobby is of little use, as the WiFi direct print feature doesn't work. The staff at the front desk knows little of it and can't provide any help. No IT person to help, and the best they can offer is for guests to send the file to print via email to them. No gurantee of confidentiality though...not helpful at all. Even the night supervisor was testy., when I asked for a manager. The PC that the printer was connected to, did not have any app to open a .pdf file, rendering it practically useless. Wonder why it's called a business center. Not always, but many times, the bed sheets were wrinkled....so one doesn't know if they've been really changed. Air conditioning still uses hot and cold water to warm and cool the rooms. When summer comes around (like now), the hot water is shut off....so if the room is too cold for comfort, and one wants to warm it up....good luck. You'll have to get the technician to come up and open up the hot water, otherwise, it'll never warm up enough. No recognition of status, nor any privileges extended. Other Marriott properties, even the lower tiered Marriott brands in Asia puts this to shame. Very unbecoming of the Marriott brand.
