This is a very lovely family hotel. Owner is always around helping and smiling. It’s a small pearl surrounded by 5 stars hotel. For the price we have paid we were very happy. The first room that we have been given was too out of date for me, we have paid some extra and we were given E2 lovely and modern with big windows, nice bathroom and plenty of space. I loved it. Hotel stuff are very helpful. They are always happy, chatty and nothing is too much trouble for them. They are all very nice and professional. Room have been cleaned regularly, Hotel is clean and kept nicely outside with lovely walkway and plants. There is a small pool. It was enough for everybody because hotel is also small. Which we liked. We do not like busy and noisy hotels. There were always enough sunbeds for us. Food was okay. For the price we paid we never went hungry. My only negative comment is that it was always just a bit warm. Only soup was proper hot. It’s not a busy area. If you are looking for something with plenty of things to do, this place is not for you. It’s more chill and quiet. Again great for us. Beach was about 15 minutes walk down and up hill. Not for everybody we loved it as it was small and not many people were there. We came at the beginning of May, so just the beginning of season. Malia and Heronissos are not far away. There are two buses going 2 minutes from the hotel to the local towns. Agios Nikolaos and local village museum it’s a must see. Rent a car if you can. There is a car rental next to the hotel or speak with reception. We want to thank everyone at the hotel for a nice stay. All the best crew!

L'hôtel est très bien entretenu, les chambres sont disposées de sorte qu'on a l'impression d'être dans un petit village. Le personnel a vraiment été à notre écoute, très sympa et très réactif. La cuisine est correcte, il y a du salé et du sucré pour le petit-déjeuner, mais ça ressemble plutôt à de l'industriel. Pour le repas du soir il y a des produits frais et du choix, rien à redire. Les chambres sont assez grande, la salle de bain aussi ,il y a un petit balcon avec table , et un petit frigo bien pratique. La clim fonctionne bien ,il y a aussi une grande télé mais pas de chaînes françaises. Le lit est refait tous les jours ainsi que le ménage dans les chambres Il y a un bar dans l'hôtel vraiment sympa et une supérette juste à côté où on trouve tout ce dont on a besoin, même les souvenirs. La mer est à côté mais pour trouver une plage correct il faudra prendre la voiture. Nous avons passer un excellent séjour et je recommande cet hôtel qui fait un excellent pied-à-terre pour visiter l'est de la crête.

We booked this hotel after looking at a few different hotels in the area. We liked it because of the location. It's close to some nice little beaches that have such lovely calm and shallow sea. It's got a standard shop next door which has most things you need. We used this shop a lot and found it quite useful. There's also an excursion shop next door that had decent prices for all the major trips on the island. The lady there was really friendly and spoke good English. The staff are all very friendly and work very hard. We went halfboard, so we had breakfast and tea included. Breakfast was quite nice and filled us for the majority of the day. Tea was nice on a night. There was always something to eat. Lovely pool area that was quiet throughout the day, with no issues getting a sun bed. We did walk to Hersonissos Harbour from this hotel. It took us around 20-25 minutes to walk from this hotel. It is doable, but if you can't walk far, have limited mobility, or struggle to walk in the heat, then it's not the best walk. It's much easier on a night as it's much cooler. Alternatively, you can get a taxi, which the hotel will call for you, and it will cost around €10. It's such a nice little hotel and is somewhere I'd definitely return to. I don't really have many quams about the hotel. The hotel is clean and a pleasure to stay in. There's also some lovely resodent cats, and as a cat lover, I say this as a positive. The only issue from myself is that it can get busy with children. Some were very noisy and disruptive during breakfast and tea (no fault of the staff). Obviously, if you've got kids, it's great, but some days we found it was busy around the pool area, but we went out elsewhere a lot anyway, so it's not really an issue. If you're looking into this area, definitely give this hotel a chance as we really enjoyed it!

My partner and I stayed at the hotel for 4 weeks in September/October 2024. We chose the hotel as it appealed to us as a family run hotel rather than the larger 5* hotels that surround it. Our first room D7 looked onto a little courtyard area which was pretty, however, it was shaded all day, and you were looking directly at your neighbours. We asked if it would be possible to move as we were there for an extended time and the reservations manager was so accommodating and friendly. We were given a choice of rooms when they became available 3 days later and opted for F3 which was at the bottom of the private villa, it was far bigger, and the bathroom was more modern. We requested a mattress topper for the bed and found it really comfortable for our stay. The unheated pool was empty most of the days until mid afternoon and there was no issue getting a lounger, no-one 'reserved' beds with their towels. I actually found it more enjoyable beside the small children's pool as this was not used the majority of our holiday and had the comfort of shade from the trees. Our stay was half board and we found the food was very good quality and plenty of options daily. The outside bar was closed but you could order drinks that the staff would bring from the adjoining restaurant. The hot drinks were available at breakfast but not in the evening, there are kettles and cups and saucers in the rooms as well as a fridge. The staff were very nice, some more chatty than others but all equally polite and approachable. There is one bus a day in each direction from the stop outside the neighbouring hotel, a 3 minute walk at max. The bus to Hersonissos cost 2 Euro in each direction and continues on to Aghios Nikolaos. The tour booking shop next door has very competitive prices and we found some much cheaper than with our holiday booking company. For those that enjoy watching television, the ones in the rooms have limited English speaking channels, just the news ones but the internet connection is good enough to stream programmes onto portable devices. The housekeeping staff were very cheery and friendly, they work very hard to keep the rooms clean each day. We very much enjoyed our lengthy, totally relaxing stay and were pleased with our choice of hotel and location. There were many nationalities at the hotel over the course of 4 weeks which may account for fewer UK reviews.
