The massage was good and the pressure was just as I expected. Emma the therapist was lovely. I only wish they could play some calming music in the background and explain how their shower works.

Please do not be fooled by this hotel’s pictures and its description, it is not a 5 star resort. Staff are friendly but overworked and most likely underpaid. Stayed for 10 days, and not once witnessed the pool getting cleaned, water is extremely murky. The pool is horrific and the pool bar is messy, unclean and dated. Had to pay £2 euros for wifi access per device and day. “All inclusive” offered a range of 4 heavily watered down cocktails, the rest you had to pay for. Food is mediocre at best, not much option for picky eaters/ kids. Sunbeds are all pretty much broken and they bring up the blue sunbeds from the beach to compensate for the grey ones. Entertainment team are friendly. Rooms are small, changed bedding every day and received fresh towels. shower head was broken, mirror has rust and dirt around it, best thing about the room was the air conditioning that they surprisingly didn’t make you pay to use. We had to pay a euro (one time use) to use the scale to weigh our cases and then a further 2 euros each to put a case into each locker for safety. There is an “indoor pool” which is not available to use, with no water in it and used as a storage room as shown in pictures below. Gym times are unreliable and change depending on staffs mood, so do not rely on opening and closing times. we’ve been on many 5 star holidays before and this is most definitely a 4 star hotel. Me and my friends had a wonderful stay here at Annabelle Beach Resort. The staff especially made the highlight of our trip, they were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Valia and Efi in particular welcomed us warmly and were greatly helpful throughout our trip. The hotel backs onto a beautiful pebble beach and is a short distance to the town Hersonissos- which I highly recommend as it has lovely restaurants, bars, shops and nightlife. There is a nice selection of food every night and drinks are very nice. The entertainment is very inclusive and enjoyable, and the animation team are incredible and so friendly. Our room was cosy with comfortable beds and a terrace outside which was a nice touch. I highly recommend this hotel and would love to come back!!

My wife and I stayed at the Annabelle Beach Resort hotel (the island of Crete, Greece) in early September. Overall, our stay there was quite pleasant. It was warm, although there was a storm for three days, and swimming was not possible. Taking into account the fact that we came from a country where it rains almost constantly in one form or another and it is almost never hot, staying in such a place was quite desirable. We were unpleasantly surprised by the literally traumatic entrance to the sea. To enter the water and then get out of it, you have to make a considerable effort, as the bottom near the shoreline is simply strewn with slippery rocks. To enter the sea, you almost have to be an acrobat. It is surprising that, after many years of cultivating tourism there, no effort has been made to at least partially clear the entrance to the sea. As far as the food was concerned, we were quite satisfied. What was not satisfactory was the attitude of at least some of the staff to the problems of the guests. The following incident was particularly striking. On the day of our departure, my wife and I left two our jackets behind in the luggage room. Those items of clothing were not particularly expensive, but at that time we needed them, since we were returning to our cold and rainy climate. We discovered the loss at the Heraklion airport. I called the hotel and asked the receptionist (I recognized him by his voice, he seemed to be a senior receptionist at the hotel) to send us the jackets with one of the guests who were also going to the airport a short time later. The receptionist replied that allegedly no one was going to the airport, even though we could clearly see many suitcases in the luggage room obviously belonging to the guests who, like us, were planning to leave the hotel shortly that day and were definitely going to the airport. Well, okay, let's assume that no one was going to the airport. Then I asked that hotel employee to arrange for our belongings to be sent to our country. Moreover, I hastened to assure him that we would pay the expenses. To this, the said employee replied that they did not send forgotten personal items. We would supposedly have to find ourselves a courier service like DHL, arrange with it to have our belongings picked up at the hotel and delivered to our address. What can I say in this regard? At the end of last year, my daughter left her hairdryer behind at a hotel in Paris, and the hotel sent it to her at its own expense. I don't understand why it would be a problem for the hotel to contact a company like DHL and ask it to deliver my belongings to my address at my expense. This speaks volumes about the standard of the hotel. And after that, how can I recommend that hotel to anyone? No, you can go there if you want, but not on my recommendation.

had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful especially valia and efi they were very helpful , always ready to assist with anything I needed. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. I especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast and the great location, which made it easy to explore the city. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area, and I look forward to staying here again in the future
