Staybridge Suites des Moines North - Ankeny

This is a wonderful motel. Decided to do a local "staycation" for a girl’s weekend with two 10-year-old girls. We had a studio, 2 queens with kitchenette and it was just wonderful. The room was spot on clean, comfortable beds and even a nice sized, very clean, hide-a-bed for the two girls. There were enough dishes for 4 along with a two-burner stove top and full-size fridge. I felt the room was bigger than the pictures on the website showed. Breakfast was great every morning and the swimming pool was perfect for the kiddos. There wasn't a hot tub for us adults, which was a disappointment but it didn’t make or break our stay. The front desk staff was super amazing and we enjoyed talking with them. I would love to stay here again and probably will if the opportunity arises. On a side note: I had read reviews that speak of an odor, but what I smelled was good ol' Iowa, where you can smell the humidity some days and the nearby farm lands. When you step in the elevator there is a slight aroma, but it just smelled like rain and again, humidity. (it is close to the swimming pool and laundry area)

This hotel did not disappoint. We traveled as a family for a short getaway and to meet up with some other family. The room was large and clean, the beds were comfy, the breakfast was wonderful, and the staff was perfectly friendly! We felt like it was a great value!

Fantastic place to stay...very close to everything and excellent staff

Very clean and spacious Everything was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was spacious...only complaint was hearing every little thing in the room above us in the middle of the night.

This is our second time staying at this hotel in Ankeny, Iowa. The first time there were few people staying at the hotel. This time there were many more people, but the hotel room was still quiet and very nice. The hotel room is very roomy compared to many other hotels. The bed is comfortable. Very comfortable.
