The Inn at Tacaro Estate

We love the rich and hearty ambiance that Tacaro brings! From the moment we enter the long driveway, my wife and I feel as if we've taken an exit from society and are suddenly transported to someplace far far away. Maybe somewhere in Old Europe, where tasty foods, tasteful decor, and unique art converge. And where decades-past thoughtful American memorabilia compliment the overall experience. On our different visits, we've found something new and interesting each time. Strolling amongst the rooms and grounds seems right for the soul. It's all the little details that Susan and Luca provide that keep it from being like anything else we've visited in any country... Warm days are nice, but to us, Tacaro is the perfect environment for those cool and cold days and nights...we look forward to our future visits!

Back in time elegance Large stately estate from a bygone era. Decorated beautifully with all the modern necessities. We had a fire to go to sleep to the first few nights as it was chilly outside. The breakfast is five star and the owners and staff are wonderful. We extended our stay by 7 days!!

Proposed at the Inn and she accepted! Excellent!!! 5 Stars all the way!!! Great views of the Chesapeake Bay, wonderful owners and staff. A must stay place when visiting Maryland! Check out the pool and the basement bar. The breakfast each morning is 5 star.

We recently stayed at Tacaro (our second time) and it continues to be an exceptional experience! Exquisite. Susan and Luciano are the most amazing, accommodating hosts and we feel like we are staying with friends...from the wonderful, homemade breakfasts, to making sure we are truly comfortable, all is top notch. And the pool...it has a view of the Bay and its calming beauty. The Inn itself is very hip too...almost like LA meets coastal Maryland. If we could give this Inn more that 5 stars, we'd give it eleven!! We travel a lot and this is by far our favorite place to stay.

My wife Mary and I stayed at the Inn at Tacaro Estate last weekend while we attended our friend's wedding nearby. The facility is as gorgeous as the pictures on the website, and Luca & his staff are amazing. The breakfast each day was worthy of a Micheline Star, and food never seemed to stop coming. We can't wait to find a reason to come back!!!

Unforgettable Labor Day weekend getaway. We were blown away by Susan and Luciano’s hospitality. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed, and gave some great recommendations for nearby restaurants. They even gave our infant son a gift before we left and were genuinely excited to give it to him. We wished we could have stayed longer but will visit again!
