Pirogue Lodge

Excellent accommodation and, as we have come to expect in Seychelles, exceptional hospitality and service with the friendliest of welcomes! The room was very spacious, clean and well-appointed and conveniently located for the beach. Unfortunately we didn't get chance to eat in the restaurant but everyone we spoke to said it was very good (in fact, the country's President was having a meal there when we arrived)! Unfortunately, I didn't get the names of all the staff we spoke to, but a special mention to the young lad who was the son of one of the team members who also gave me a few fishing tips - you are a credit to your mum and dad! If you follow in your parent's footsteps, the hospitality industry of the Seychelles is in safe hands!

The room is a bit dated and in need of some love, like for example the fridge that had small rust stains…but the bathroom was very fresh, clean and renovated. The location is also beach front and it sincerely has the best restaurant on the island (if you like tuna steaks). The free parking was also very nice. The sunbeds on the beach were a nice touch and it’s never crowded around the pool since they only have 6 rooms

Wonderful place

Very nice property 20 meters from the beach. Had a very nice stay here, super friendly staff, excellent service and cleanliness. An improvement could be made on the wifi since it’s not really available in the rooms, just in the restaurant/lobby area. For the rest, great stay.

Tolles Haus in dem wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Bernadette und das Team sind unfassbar aufmerksam. Jeden Morgen zum Frühstück smalltalk. Haben und den Einlass zur Anse Georgette gebucht, den Ausflug nach Curieuse, dazu viele Tipps. Liege wird einem an den Strand gebracht. Pool toll. Hatten HP. Frühstück einfach aber alles was man benötigt. Abendessen mehrere Optionen aus einer Karte. Internet gut, jeder bekommt einen eigenen Zugang. Blöd wenn man 2 Geräte nutzt. Und keine automatische Neueinwahl. Man musste sich jedes Mal neu einwählen. Wir können dieses Haus zu 100 Prozent weiterempfehlen. Enttäuscht waren wir über die Cote Dor. Einige Stingrays und wenig Seegras vorhanden. Wasser aber kein Vergleich zur Anse Lazio oder Gerorgette. Der Ort hat 2 kleine Supermärkte, Take aways….Ende. Rest spielt sich in den Hotels ab.
