Hotel le Duc de Praslin

不錯的，不是很大 但是住着舒服，有個大沙灘，公共沙灘， 這裏的人都不錯，就是有點貴酒店

Bien accueilli, chaleureux par Suganthan et Deepthi à la Villa 270 - service génial Buffet super bon pour le petit déjeuner et aussi pour le souper du soir. Maison incroyable Propreté super aussi pour toute la villa Et la voiture avec la villa pour les visites c’est vraiment pratique

I recently visited Praslin Island and choose to stay in this hotel. We are from India and we first visited Mahe and now Praslin. We arrive hotel around 1 P M . The hotel check in policy is 3 PM So we have to wait for 2 hours as our room was getting cleaned. Our was a OCEAN ROOM. So when we got our room I was surprised to see that my room was neither Ocean room or garden room. I instantly asked that is not my Roma’s I have booked a OCEAN ROOM THE person in reception department was ELIDA She told that OUR OCEAN Room means room decorated like Ocean. I was shocked to hear that . I felt I have been cheated I told I will not check in this room . If you can give me ocean facing room then give or I am leaving . After some time a senior manager came . She then told me that she can give pool access room . I didn’t have any choice but to take it My first room no was 110 on first floor After that they gave me room no 103. Any how my whole afternoon and evening was spoiled. I had a half board package . In dinner buffet no drinks no water also only food. Water or drinks you have to pay for it. Some how I did not like it if ur paying a good price for dinner buffet. . The hotel beach was clean and beautiful. The pool was small. Food was tasty . On the whole 3 out of 5 Pls don’t cheat people like this

We arrived at the hotel around 11 a.m. At the reception, we were greeted by woman named Sabrina — very unfriendly, slow, and uninterested. After a welcome drink, we were told the room was not ready yet, and we could wait either on the beach or at the beach café. Towels were promised but after 20 minutes none arrived. After a reminder, the towels were finally brought. We were promised to be notified once the room was ready, but at 3 p.m. I had to ask at reception myself — the room was ready, but no one informed us. I was immediately taken to the room, although I asked to wait for my husband. While waiting, we had a snack at the beach café — the food was tasteless and the service extremely slow and unfriendly. Room (New Ocean Room) was spacious and bright but showed clear defects: a broken floor lamp, damaged wall, and missing tiles in the shower. There was no privacy in the bathroom. Our request for an extra pillow was ignored for over 4 hours despite reminders. After showering, I slipped — the bathroom tiles are very slippery and there were no warning signs. Room cleaning was mediocre: tea was never replenished during our week, and tiny shampoo bottles were also not refilled. Positives: the hotel grounds are small but well-maintained; the dinner was very tasty and fresh, with great desserts; good coffee and lemonades at breakfast. Breakfast rated 4 stars, dinner a solid 5 stars. A problem were birds walking on the pastries. Some staff members, like Stephania B, Mahesh and Lucas, were especially polite and professional. Upon checkout, we were gifted a nice painting — a kind gesture. The hotel owner Robert is regularly on site and interacts with guests. Prices for excursions and services at the hotel are excessively high — similar tours are offered at half the price just 100 meters down the beach. The beach itself is very beautiful with soft white sand, but the water is murky and shallow, with many stingrays near the shore — be careful! Conclusion: There is no clear information whether the hotel is 4 or 5 stars. In my opinion, it deserves a solid 4 stars rating.

Nous avons séjourné en famille 3 nuits en villa et 1 une en chambre d’hotel. Tout est d’une qualité haut de gamme. Le personnel est extrêmement gentil et dévoué. Le buffet de l’hotel est varié et copieux. Je recommande les glaces en dessert. N'hésitez pas prendre l'apéro ou diner sur la plage au Café des Arts le spot est splendide. Je recommande vivement cet endroit vous serez enchanté.

The service at the hotel was amazing. We stayed at one of the villas and we had a truly incredible experience. Hilda welcomed us and got us all situated with the villa and all the hotel accommodations. The staff at the villa was over the top helpful and accommodating. Suganthan was AWESOME! Never in my entire life have me and my friends experienced such great service. We will remember this trip for our entire lives. The room and the staff made this an unforgettable experience. We thank you all so much for all the memories
