New Araliya Resort

The room was pretty clean but it was in awful conditions. It so badly manages. Bedsheets were dirty and full of holes. There was no aircon inside (fan only). The light was very dim and barely enough to see all this horror. There was a kettle and fridge in lobby on ground floor. As for bath and toilet it was also pretty clean and needs renovation as well. There was NO hot water and NO shampoo/shower gel in bath cabins. There was NO any hangers for clothes inside but they provide toilet paper, a piece of soap and a towel as well. Lamp was with a terrible green light. Internet connection was also awful. First evening there was NO any Wi-Fi to use. When WiFi appeared, it worked very slowly, not enough even to watch some pictures on Instagram. Located in new town with fast access to Keels supermarket. The staff seemed polite and smiling but the manager was incompetent. First night i booked comfort single room but have been checked in deluxe double (i don't know why & how). Then i extended my stay for 1 more night in the same room he told me that i should replace to another one and i should wait for this until 12pm to recheck in at this time because they don't have avalaible room to replace in the morning. He was stealing my time for sightseeing but finally he found avalaible room (and it was even worse than the first one). He just doesn't check booking conditions as i booked the second night with breakfast but he didn't want to provide it. Then checked the booking and cooked 2 sandwiches with vegs, fried eggs and sausages. The manager also wanted to charge me on 1500 lkr for renting a bicycle but the normal price of it in town was 1000 lkr.
