The room was clean with a decent bathroom. The owner is a very nice man who takes a lot of pride in his business. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is right next to the I-40 highway. The constant rumble and roar of trucks passing by made the room unbearable at night. If I didn't have earplugs from the plane, I wouldn't have been able to sleep - that's why I wouldn't recommend this hotel to neurodivergent people who have trouble with noise. The hotel has an excellent location if you want to visit Petrified NTLP and are coming from Moab, for example... if only there was a noise barrier built around the highway, as is quite common in Europe (photos)... It's a standard motel with a continental breakfast served in a small room with only a few seats. The room had relatively new furniture and was nice. The bedside tables had built-in electrical outlets and USB and USB-C connectors, which we really appreciated. The mattress was placed on the frame without any fasteners. So, if you sat down carelessly on one side of the mattress, it shifted by almost 10 cm. The doors could do with a good clean as there are dirty marks on them. When we arrived, there were flies in the room. There was yellowish water in the toilet when we arrived. We soon discovered that the toilet was not draining properly and that the toilet paper was coming back up; we had to flush several times. Even so, by morning the water was yellowish again. The Wi-Fi signal in the room was weak or non-existent, but in the corner of the shower stall by the wall, it was strong and the speed was acceptable. But who spends time planning the next few days in the shower? The room had a different type of air conditioning to usual. Rather than being under the window, there was a thermostat on the wall and cool air came through a grille between the bathroom and the room — the air conditioning was routed through the ceiling.

It's an old property, remodeled sometime fairly recently. Price was right (12K Best Western points.) Room had a strange smell, but looked fresh and clean. Appreciate the double sheets with a clean duvet in the middle. Lots of pillows. Towels fresh and new. AC worked well. The water here is smelly --probably beyond anyone's control, but we opted to not bathe. Breakfast was scanty but adequate = yogurt, 2 dry cereals, scrambled eggs, basic assortment of breads, typical fako orange juice and apple juice, coffee excellent. The location is very noisy with freeway traffic and roug roads, but it was not problematic. Rm 105 is probably the quietest room on the property. No elevator. Thankfully they had 1st floor room that was quiet. We didn't realize there weren't any restaurants nearby -- backtracked 6 miles to a Subway for dinner; should've planned better. Would we stay again? Hmmm -- maybe not. Humbolt is an hour west; Gallup is an hour east --- probably would seek out either instead of this stop. The scenery around here is amazing -- sorry we missed the Petrified Forest on our way east; too late to turn back now. Next trip will be a must do; highly recommended by friends. This is an amazing Amtrak route for scenery, if you train rather than drive.

Chambers, AZ Everything was nice - clean, cool, comfortable room. Exactly what we were looking for. Friendly, helpful staff. But, the restaurant that appeared to be attached was terrible and we had to travel 7 or 8 miles farther up the road to find a Subway for dinner.

I was here about two years ago, and since that time, they have really renovated the rooms. They are much nicer.

From the outside, the motel doesn't look like much, but the rooms appear to be newly remodeled and were very clean. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was fine. I would stay here again.
