Anemos Luxury Grand Resort

Whist on the face of the hotel, it looks lovely but for the price and 5* it wasn’t the expected experience. On arrival we were kindly offered sandwiches, we were escorted through to the dining area and presented with average looking sandwiches but they tasted okay, 4 of the party were vegetarian and these were pre made without knowledge. We asked the member of staff if we could replace them at which point he took the sandwiches away and came back with 2 pieces of stale bread per person, with a slice of hardened cheese which I can only assume was for earlier in the day. This was laughed off, but again not exactly 5* luxury experience especially as a first impression. Whilst there are Resteraunt's available within the resort they are set menus and normally sharing. If you are a steak lover, it’ll be hard to find here! Overall the food again isn’t bad in these, but did not live up to the name or expectations. Children’s menus are very limited if you want to eat in the Resteraunts and carbon copy practically from one place to another offering the same 5 basic meals. If you choose to sit in the buffet area for meals it is well stocked with food and has a good variety which caters for all but overall I can’t say I’ll be returning. I believe for the price paid as all inclusive, theres better options out there to be explored with a more luxury touch! Sadly I can only offer an honest review of the experience we had, and whilst the resort wasn’t for us I can’t speak for everyone

Anemos Luxury Resort is truly impressive — the rooms are clean, spacious, and beautifully maintained. The entire resort is stunning, with great attention to detail and a relaxing atmosphere. The food is exceptional, with one of the best buffet selections I’ve ever experienced — everything fresh and full of flavor. It’s also perfect for families, thanks to the fun water slides and the well-run mini club that keeps kids happy and entertained. Highly recommended for both comfort and quality!

Not giving it 5 stars only because of cleaning which was 3 out of 5 (I was regularly wiping hair and dust off floors and furniture myself as cleaners didn't care, they didn't even have vacuum cleaners) and bed linen/towels were sometimes greyish. Also dated bathrooms in the rooms. Otherwise, a very good hotel with nice grounds, enjoyable yoga/pilates classes, good beach and really delicious food!

Location was really nice and rooms were one of the best what I have had. Staff was nice and very friendly. Food and all service were perfect. Only very small minus were that quite busy road was 75 meters from our villa, but I think our villa were only one where were that problem. Great value of money! If you ever go to Crete, this is one of the best choices.

Serious Hygiene Issue My review got deleted, adding again!!! Beautiful resort, but with severe hygiene problems. Our whole family got sick: Day 4 – daughter 1 with continuous vomiting, Days 6–7 – both parents and daughter 2 with heavy diarrhea, Day 9 – daughter 2 vomiting again after returning home. Rooms are clean, but restaurant hygiene is poor – dirty tables, chairs and dishes, sometimes with an unpleasant smell. Food is acceptable for a few days, then becomes repetitive. Service is unreliable – orders often missing or wrong, sometimes denied. Hotel carts drive carelessly, unsafe for children. Positives: lovely property, great evening shows, spacious suites and good base for trips to Rethymno & Chania. Bottom line: for a 5-star resort, this level of hygiene is absolutely unacceptable. If you delete, we‘ll add again.

Nice Style of the Building, Very Stylish Architecture Inside & Outside with Nicely Crafted Details Royal Style. Clean, Fresh with Nice Scent! Rooms: Spacious, Nicely Decirated, with Beach Bags, SPA Robes & Good Toiletries. Cleaned Daily! Cosy Beds, Linen & Crisp White Towels! Rooms with Terracies, Balconies or Swim up Pools! Restaurants: Buffet Superb, a la Carte ok. SPA: Very Good Beach Towels: Large, Soft, Nice Beach Amazing: Can Walk The Coastline Baggy driving guests to The Beach or 8 ~ 10 minutes Walk from The Hotel Staff: Attentive, Working Very Well Charges: Decent! Possible to Rent Extra Check out at extra 10 EUR/Hour/Room A Train going to The Kournas Lake Kids Club & Water Park Great! Tennis, Basketball, Football, Mini Golf, Gaming Arcade!
