Whilst this property has a few things that would benefit from tidying up, or modernising, and the dining options are limited, it is the team themselves who make this a great stay and a really good, reasonably priced, conveniently situated hotel in Aqaba. The team at this hotel, and especially the management, are well spoken, polite, supportive, and prepared to go every extra mile that they can to support their guests. There is a good level of English language spoken for non-Arabic speakers, and every action is focused on providing comfort and support wherever possible. For higher prices, there are invariably more glamorous choices in Aqaba, but these are often noisy, and hectic, with little time for individual focus. At the Oryx, every guest was the focus, treated like friends visiting rather than people passing through. Nothing was too much trouble, and I would happily recommend it as a terrific reasonably priced option for a stay in the area.

Had a lovely relaxing few days at this hotel as part of a tour of Jordan. All of the staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. The bed was really comfortable and the room was spotless. I enjoyed sitting on my balcony with the lovely view of the Red Sea. I was a bit disappointed that the roof top pool was closed (and looks like it has been for years) as this would have been a really nice area. However the downstairs pool was nice and very quiet so it was very peaceful. The shuttle bus is also very useful. The food was really good both at breakfast and dinner.

I had a disappointing experience at Oryx Hotel Aqaba, primarily due to the unprofessional behavior of the head maintenance staff, a man named Btosh. Instead of addressing my concerns with courtesy, he exhibited a dismissive and harassing attitude that made me feel uncomfortable during my stay. It’s unfortunate because the hotel has potential, but the lack of proper customer service really overshadowed my experience. I expected a welcoming environment, but instead, I felt disrespected and undervalued as a guest. I would not recommend this hotel until they address these serious issues with their staff.

It was one of the best stay I had in hotels, the staff are welcoming, friendly and always smiley and helpful The room was nice with nice decorations and amenities, the food was really good and we enjoyed the restaurants there We recommend the hotel for all travelers
