Comitas Floramar

Just had a week at Floramar hotel. I was really excited to be staying at a hotel with such great reviews but was disappointed staying here. First I was expecting 2 bedroom superior sea view apartment. I unfortunately had a one bedroom apartment which I had to share with two adult daughters and my husband. My daughter has special needs so required 2 bedrooms. On arrival I was told none were available. I got told this was a booking problem with LoveHolidays. I paid a lot of money for Bed and Breakfast 6.5 night stay. Drinks and food is expensive and they don’t take cash. Might as well use restaurants around the Cala Galdana. Breakfast was nice but always cold even when arriving at 8.15am. I asked about housekeeping on reception as our balcony and floors were never swept or cleaned. I was told by reception this would be done but never was. No tips for housekeeping. They also have bad body odour which isn’t pleasant when they enter your room. Views are beautiful. Hotel up a big hill and we never saw taxis. Very small resort and not many restaurants even in August, We won’t be returning! Expensive holiday!

Great location, only a few minutes walk to the beach and the resort. Hotel facilities good with a great size pool in an elevated position overlooking the bay. Generously proportioned room and good food offering for breakfast. All other meals we had outside the hotel, so can’t comment about dinner.

Our family of 4 stayed at the Floramar from 9th August 2025. Everything start to finish was excellent, we had a 1 bed apartment with our two children and it was very comfortable and a lovely stay. Pool area is amazing and very child friendly they loved it. Games room was popular as did playing football in a hotel squash court. We had breakfast each day which was very good and had evening meal 3 times at a very reasonable price, one of them evenings was BBQ night by the pool also very good. We found drinks at the bar very reasonable, we used the bar plenty during our stay and found it very good. One of our children bumped his head and cut it one evening when he was playing and the hotel staff couldn’t do enough for us, he was fine but the way the staff acted was really nice. Really was a fantastic holiday and would recommend to anyone.

A lovely hotel in a lovely location! It is so beautiful and the views are amazing. We booked a 'side sea view room' but were pleasantly surprised to find that we had a great view of the bay and out to sea. Our 1 bed appt was plenty roomy enough for the 3 of us and had everything we needed. We appreciated the full size fridge and freezer section as we were self catering. Plenty of restaurants a short walk away ... but as other reviewers have said, it is down a steep hill to the beach and the resort... and up on the way back! I must admit that I did struggle a bit , despite being fairly fit as I have arthritis in my knees. We stayed from mid to late July for 14 nights and the hotel did undergo a change in that time. It had many nationalities to begin with which was lovely and had a variety of group types but as our holiday went on, it got predominantly British families. This was good in one aspect as it meant that my son (age 13) finally made a couple of friends but did mean that the sunbed reserving started up unnecessarily! Despite this, we could usually find 3 sunbeds together at any time of the day. There were just a couple of families who felt the need to reserve their sunbeds for hours on end when they weren't actually using them! don't let this put you off as they views from the chairs in the outdoor bar area are 'insta worthy'! The beach is perfect for swimming, snorkelling and there are pedalos, kayaks and paddle boards to hire. You can take the footpath to the more remote beaches or you can take the glass bottom boat or taxi boats. It is worth the trip! We only ate at the hotel once. It was nice but not a huge amount of choice for our 13 year old and myself (I'm vegetarian). Supermarket very close if you are SC. (But be warned it doesn't open on Sundays), If you like Indian food there is a really nice restaurant in the resort called S' Escopinya. Chefs are from Pakistani but have worked in Birmingham. We are from Leicester and it's as good as we have here. The waiter was so friendly.. I do feel that the staff of the Floramar could learn from that as the bar staff were not always very friendly so it did not make us want to spend time or money there!

Hotel bien situé à 5mn de la superbe plage de cala galdana! Très belle vue depuis la piscine. Petit déjeuner fabuleux et très complet. Personnel agréable et serviable. Appartement propre et fonctionnel. Supermarché à côté de l hôtel. Bonne situation pour visiter minorque. Proche cala mitjana (très belle!) Et de cala macarella (30mn à pieds) A mi-chemin entre ciutadella et maho ( 25mn environ). Bref, très bon séjour...

I'm currently staying in a one bed superior studio on a self catering basis. Whilst the surrounding area is absolutely stunning, there's a few areas of vast improvement for the accommodation. Firstly, if you are travelling with young children / babies, be aware that the baby pool is absolutely freezing. My toddler refuses to go in. There's also issues with reserving sunbeds around the pool, unless you are up and out by 8am, you can forget getting one! Therefore we have spent every day at the beach, as the sea is like stepping into a warm bath. There is also no Highchair in the accommodation, so again this makes breakfast time tricky. I can't comment on the meals / snack at the hotel, as due to the freezing cold pools, we have chosen to eat out for lunch. My main gripe, is that Whilst our room has been cleaned that the maid has taken my toddlers sleep bag. This was reported to reception and there was no concern or offer of a replacement or anything to make him comfortable, whilst this is missing. As this was my toddlers bedtime on sunday when reported, we were unable to go out & replacement this. We were assured that it would definitely be returned to us this morning, but we have since been told tonight!!! We will wait & see. It is also hit & miss whether your patio doors and windows are closed again after your room has been cleaned. So we have found some unwelcome cockroaches in our apartment, which my husband has had to catch to get rid of. The area & grounds are left clean and spotless, it is just such a shame that the above points have tainted our experience of the hotel.
