Windmill Hotel

The staff at the hotel are so friendly & helpful and keep it looking spotless. The location of this hotel is great for local restaurants and shops all in walking distance. The pool is really good size with plenty of loungers & chairs, all outside space is very well maintained as we had a garden view which was lovely. We booked bed & breakfast and was not disappointed as the food was lovely with a great choice they also provided gluten free bread which was a bonus as I'm gluten intolerant. Really good value for money everything you need from a holiday a really relaxing stay. My husband and myself would highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing stay all the restaurants there serve the best food. We are from South Wales and would definitely return 😀

This is by far the best hotel we have stayed in over 25 years of visiting the greek islands .The standard of this hotel should be way above the 2 stars it has been awarded . The reception team are so professional and friendly. There is a lift (almost unheard of in greek hotels ) . The room we had 204 had a modern walk in shower with a selection of toiletries (never had this anywhere before ),Fresh towels everyday and cleaned every day by a vast team of staff .The room was of decent size and exceptionally clean with hoards of storage . The breakfast was varied and plentiful with something for everyone. The pool bar had friendly chatty staff and the food was of good standard. I think a lot of hoteliers need to visit here to see how it should be done and I think it is run to a high standard with a large team and it really really shows .A big well done from us and good luck for the coming summer season 👍

Het restaurant is echt fijn. Veel keuze. Echt voor iedereen is er iets lekkers en lunch en diner kaart zeer overzichtelijk en hartelijk personeel welke niet op de voorgrond treedt en je voorziet van tips in de buurt als je erom vraagt. Het restaurant was niet druk bezocht omdat het niet direct aan de weg ligt denken wij, want kunnen ons geen leukere relaxte sfeer voorstellen zo, en zwembad zicht met prachtige verlichting. Erg aardige serveerster :)

Have traveled far and wide but windmill is our go to happy place! Always a friendly family welcome, feel like were coming home, have aquired many life long friends here over the years, Jenny and family do everything to make you welcome, the staff are just perfect Denise in the snack bar ,Gerri and Christina Jella and the others just love them-breakfast is amazing everything for all tastes -expect to gain weight-pool is great and clean as is everything else -great location 5-10mins stroll to the village for bars , shops restaurants, their other restaurant Kavo is just across the road if you want extra special dining on the sea front, or more sunbeds by day

I booked this hotel based on the good reviews and was not disappointed. The staff here are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are cleaned daily and to a high standard. Air-conditioning was extra but we knew that before arrival so it wasn't a problem. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. Pool area was clean with comfy sun loungers. The pool bar was cosy and drinks were very reasonably priced. There was no entertainment as it was approaching the end of season but again we expected that. The hotel is set back up a slight hill but is only a short walk to the shops and tavernas, in the lovely resort of Argassi. I've stayed in all singing all dancing 5 star hotels, many of which fall short. But I would choose to stay in this 2 star hotel with a much deserved 5 star customer rating every time. What an absolute gem of a find and thank you to all the Windmill Staff for a wonderful stay xxx

Late booking for some end of season sun. Two couples with different needs. Mine being a couple of new knees! We had a ground floor room with pool view. The other was a 1st floor room with pool and sea view. We eye both expecting garden view rooms so it was a nice bonus. Rooms basic but with good beds and bathrooms- what more do you need. Pool area nice but was busy at times with some people reserving beds! Just don’t be selfish, especially if you don’t intend to use them until the afternoon! Pool lovely but cold initially as you get in (end sept) but fine after 1st minute. Breakfast had plenty of choice and all nice. No need for anyone to go without. All staff lovely especially Christina, but watch out for her 🕷️ joke! 😅🤣 Cafe area good with good selection of good and drinks at reasonable prices. Hotel up a short drive with slight incline but manageable. Just off the main ***** to loads of shops and restaurants. Being slightly off the main road meant the hotel was peaceful. I imagine some of the other hotels on the main road can be noisy. Good base on the island for exploring if you like to get about with access to the (fun) train, bus and taxis. Bus to Zante €2 each way. Would highly recommend this hotel and looking to book again next year, knowing I’ll be able to get about (with a new knee hopefully!).
