Lassi Hotel

We are currently staying at the Lassi hotel and have found this week fabulous. The staff are very friendly and cannot do enough for you. The breakfast is lovely and caters for most tastes. Our room is clean and comfortable with a lovely sea view which was unexpected but has added to our experience here. The local shop “The Dolphin” is a short walk all be it up the hill is well stocked with all the essentials. There are 2 beaches within walking distance one from the back of the hotel and one from the front. There is also a little taverna overlooking the sea which is beautiful. Sun beds are 20 euro for the day and 15 at the other. There are refreshments available on both beaches which are reasonably priced. The negatives for me was that on arrival we were told that the air con and fridge and safe would incur further charges. It basically worked out to an additional 60 euros. The latter we are used off but not the fridge and air con. ( my thoughts would be just add it to the price of the holiday then it wouldn’t be an issue. That aside you also need to pay a tourist tax of 35 euros for the week for 2 people. We are missing a trick in the UK eh ? I have got to say that this week has been a lovely weeks holiday and despite my negatives it hasn’t spoilt our holiday. Lovely Island lovely people xxx

super friendly ran hotel,ideal location for walking into Argostoli and bars etc great breakfast included and a excellent swimming pool,we only stayed four nights as we extended our holiday from a different resort but thoroughly enjoyed it here,great value for money

My wife are hear right now and getting to the end of out stay. The hotel is in a fairly quiet location on the Argostoli side of Lassi. It's very near two small beaches that are only minutes from the hotel. We were greeted by a staff member and shown to our room. Nice touch. The room has a sea view on the second floor, with a lovely new bathroom with some quality loo paper. That's a first in Greece. The beds (as there were two in our room) were comfortable and the air conditioning was spot on. It's easy to work. You will pay extra for air conditioning. It's well worth it. There's the choice of a safe and fridge, again at extra choice. My only gripe was the additional charges. The hotel really needs to include A/C, a safe and a fridge in with the room price. Just add the cost on so that customers don't need to pay €102 for additions and the local tax on arrival for a week's stay. The breakfast buffet was excellent. It's compact but there's something for everyone. There was plenty of choice and good areas to sit, even outside. Nice coffee too. The bar serves some snacks for lunch and a glass of wine was €4. They also do draught and bottles beers and cider etc. The pool area was spotless. The pool itself was very clean and it was cooler in the morning and heated up during the day. It was perfect all day. Bring your own towels. The staff are simply wonderful. You can go outside the hotel and turn left up a fairly long hill to the supermarket on the main street. Very few residents went that way as there was another, easier alternative. Go out the back of the hotel and up the path behind the pool. Get to the end of the path then turn right then go up a short hill and then turn right. You're then at the supermarket or the main road. It's way easier plus the path is well lit on your return. It's a 20 minutes walk to Argostoli. Alternatively, go by taxi. It's €8 and 3.5 minutes away. There is a taxi rank on Argostoli's main square. We chatted to many residents at the pool. The consensus was the same. They loved the hotel and it's location. We are planning another trip to the Lassi Hotel very soon. Perfect!

Hotel Lassi : We kregen de kleinste kamer met een piepklein balkon, kamer 1. Je kon net om het bed lopen. Op het balkon kon je met moeite zitten. Harde bedden, en een zacht naar kussen. Een afknapper! Het hotel had andere foto's vd kamers neergezet en ze kregen als cijfer een 9,5. Ook de weg naar de winkels was erg steil.

It’s brilliant. The breakfast is amazing, the rooms are great with a new refurbished bathroom. The staff is wonderful I cannot rate this three star hotel high enough The pool is large enough for everyone We had a great time and would recommend this with no worries

This really is a fantastic hotel on arrival met by very friendly reception staff and that friendliness and politeness runs through the whole staff from reception to housekeeping . Breakfast can be very hit and miss in Greece this is a massive hit 10/10 our room another 10/10 thoroughly enjoyed the lassi hotel and will definitely be returning . On a side note there are lots of cats at the lassi hotel we noticed some brits whining and moaning about them etc .firstly cats are part of the history,culture and fabric of Greece and were there before the hotels were built so it really is not the buisness of guests to complain and try to alter that . Let's be honest brits soon start the bellyaching when visitors from overseas have opinions and want change on uk culture. a simple solution for non cat lovers is go elsewhere ( hopefully)
