Sunrise Zante - Adults Only Hotel

A perfect weeks stay, perfect facilities, more than adequate breakfast and perfectly situated. Great staff and it was just a perfect weeks relaxation, we will be back. Thank you.

The hotel was a big disappointment. First of all, it looked nothing like the pictures we saw online. At the reception, the staff member tried to act polite but was actually rude – she often avoided answering questions, pretending not to hear or simply ignoring us. Check-in was also a problem: although it says from 13:00, we were only allowed to check in much later. The breakfast was extremely poor, with only very basic items, including cheap crackers and breadsticks you could easily buy at a supermarket. The only positive point was that the ladies at breakfast were polite and kind. Overall, I strongly recommend not staying at this hotel.

Incredible holiday. Superb hotel and staff. We stayed in room 108 which had its own mini pool, room was spotlessly clean and well equipped. For this particular room an espresso machine with pods replaced daily, sun bed towels, bath robes and slippers were standard. Also, aircon was standard and key for safe at no extra charge. Breakfast buffet catered for all tastes, with chefs available to cook egg dishes fresh to order. Hotel is on the outskirts of Tsilivi meaning it was quieter than other hotels. Staff were amazing especially Anna, the housekeeping team and the gentleman around the pool who helped the housekeeping staff and provided the cushions for the sun beds...of which there were always plenty available. Recommendations for food....The Mulbery tree, The Balcony for a treat although book at sunset so you can watch this while you eat. and definitely Valentinos castle, fantastic family restaurant close to the hotel. Drinks......Traffic bar and Sandra's bar both friendly and great service. Horse and carriage ride from centre of town, around the outskirts and back to hotel cost 20 euros. Mini train 7 euros which takes you into Zante town. Bus to Zante town around 2-3 euros. Transport.....hotel provided transfers from and to airport for a reasonable price. This was arranged in advance. Hotel also offers free transport to the beach 3 x a day. Convenient supermarket just down the road. Adult only hotel. Highly recommend, will be booking with them to return next year

This hotel is little hidden gem, from being spotlessly clean, to every one of the staff (from manger to room cleaners) who were so friendly and helpful. Sunrise hotel offers a peaceful stay, but is located only a 5-10 min walk into the main *****. 20 mins walk to the beach but provides a free shuttle bus 3 times a day that we didn’t need to use. It has a large pool (open 10am to 7pm) with no rush for sun beds!! The sun beds have comfortable mattresses which I found a huge bonus! The rooms have free air con, safety box, fridge, and kettle. Almost all rooms have pool view with balcony or terrace. The rooms are cleaned daily and linen and towels changed every 3. The breakfast was adequate offering choices of bead, salad, small pastries, hot choices, cereals, melon and yogurts. My husband enjoyed his freshly made to order omelette every morning. We ate out every night, but would highly recommend in order of favourite restaurants, The Olive Tree, M eating, Elia, Etsia and YumYum (huge portions here!) If I had a pick a negative about Sun rise it would be the fact that you’re only given one room key. I would definitely return and recommend Sun Rise to friends.

Recently had 10 lovely nights in this hotel. The hotel was ideally situated for us. A nice 5-10 minute stroll into Tsilivi where all the bars and restaurants are but just far enough out to be peaceful at night. The hotel itself is lovely and clean, grounds are kept in nice condition. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean and the friendly maids clean them every day and change towels/ bedding every 3 days. There is a hairdryer, fridge, kettle and ironing board provided in the rooms. The breakfast was ok and we enjoyed the omelettes and scrambled eggs that were made to order. We will certainly return to this hotel and look forward to visiting again soon. Yamas.

Forget all the gripes about this hotel , it really is a little gem .Superbly run by Spirios and his staff .Breakfast is great , lots of choices, superbly managed by Anna and her staff .The pool is lovely and clean and the sunbeds cleaned every day after use. The room was spacious , mattress great and a good power shower . The views from this hotel are too die for and it was to wake up to them each morning. Had a fantastic holiday and would highly recommend this hotel for those wishing to visit Zante .
