"This is a pricey hotel, and it is worth every penny. Efficiently managed, with friendly, efficient staff, everything is impeccably maintained at all levels and all areas, meaning every room and element one comes across looks great and is immaculately clean. The rooms are beautifully, aesthetically designed, but also highly efficient and practical. The Spa is world-beating, truly best-in-class, and having a ski lift (plus ski rental) in the hotel is, obviously, kind of mind-blowing. The only (minor) off note was a rude maitre in the main restaurant, but he can be overlooked. If you want to splash out, do it somewhere like this, where you feel that every franc you spend is going into a wonderful overall experience."

"The welcome from Edith and Oliver Schmid, the hotel owners, was great and their support throughout our visit was exceptional. The hotel is only 3 stars but it deserves more. The food, particularly our five course dinners, were really special and the breakfasts plentiful with lovely bread from the new bakery in town. Any description of the hotel will include the friendly bar and lounge area but don't forget the jacuzzis in their wellness area and well appointed steam room and sauna to soothe your aching legs."
