Despite being on an adventure with my son all around Australia, I rarely write a review. However, I had to make an exception for the team at Darlington. Whilst the facilities, grounds and activities on offer are all first class, it is the customer service that sets Darlington apart from every place I’ve ever visited in the last 50 years. Every interaction with the staff was exceptional - words like, ‘friendly’’, ‘thorough’ and ‘expert’ just do not do the team justice as they went above and beyond to make my son and I feel welcome. We extended our stay from two to eight nights and my son even asked if we could forego the rest of our adventure to stay here! Given our stay coincided with the arrival of Cyclone Alfred, the staff really demonstrated that during times of adversity, true leadership and quality of character stand up. While not wanting to diminish the efforts of all, a special thanks must go to Jasmine, Jeremy, Josie and the ladies at reception for being the very epitome of all of the above. A final thanks to Nick, whose inspiring leadership at Darlington is obvious for all to see and a significant reason the resort has such a great culture. He even makes a great coffee at 4am!
