Ardlui Retreat

Just spent the weekend at the retreat and stayed in one of the lodges. The lodge was immaculate and the hot tub clean and the perfect temperature. We have stayed in a lot of places and this was the first place we have stayed where we were planning our next visit before we left! Garry was so helpful and managed to find us firewood when all the shops were closed over Easter weekend so we could sit by the loch with a camp fire 2 nights in a row! He lit the BBQ for us which was amazing and I highly recommend. The drinks package was varied and reasonably priced and there are great pubs nearby. If (when!) you booking I would recommend contacting Garry (with 2 r’s) for the local information as he was so helpful and made the trip effortless and memorable!

We've just returned home from staying here for my mums 60th birthday and couldn't recommend it highly enough! The lodges are incredible and so are the views. Really clean, spacious and brilliant facilities we all had the best weekend! Also Garry who checked us in was amazing, so helpful and friendly with everyone. Will definitely be back! Stay October 2024 We booked a last minute stay at ardlui retreat and the service and help from Garry and his team where above and beyond from organising the fabulous house at short notice to arranging our drinks for arrival and making sure we where well looked after nothing was of any hassle no matter off the time . The house itself sleeps 10 people we came as 2 familles with young children from the magnificent views to the best entertainment space for spending time as a family was just absolutely out of this world not to mention the amazing heated pool that the kids and adults had endless fun and made the best memories. Its a great all round place to be at any time of the year and is the perfect space to spend time with loved ones or any special occasion that you would like to celebrate 🍾 C.Murray

Great place, beautiful lodges and amazing scenery. The lodges were spacious, clean and modern (Could do with a towel rack for drying clothes), the on site gym and hut were really nice and handy. The location with the jetty on Loch Lomond was very handy especially with paddle boards. The three lads on site were helpful, love the accent. Overall its totally worth the money and such a beautiful location when the weather is nice

Avoid at all costs! Stayed in the house for three days for a family celebration which cost £4200. We left the house in a clean and great condition with no damages. Then £500 was unexpectedly taken from our card after leaving so we thought there had been a mistake. Contacted them to find out we had been charged this because one of the children had been sick in her bed and on her pillow and on a cushion. We had used a towel to clean this up so their excuse was that the bedding and towels all had to be thrown out and replaced and this couldn’t be washed. The site manager was also very intrusive. Leaving guests for quite a long period of time before letting them in and out of the property. She also told us she was watching us on cctv. Overall the place is beautiful, but we felt her presence and over assertiveness ruined it and the £500 charge at the end was a total scam. I would expect sheets, pillows and towels to be washed after every stay, replaced in certain circumstances due to accidents like children being sick without a £500 cost. Not worth the money.

Recently stayed at Ardlui Retreat in the luxurious main house “The Retreat” for a long weekend. The house, the view and the service was faultless. The house has everything you could possibly need, the decor and mod cons throughout are state of the art. The pool and hot tub area is the ideal entertainment space with a pool table, BBQ hut, heated pool and the most amazing view of the Loch. The concierge service went above and beyond to organise our weekend as it was a special birthday celebration. Organising us a balloon display, personal chef for a bbq and three-course dinner, cake and activities for the full weekend including golf, jet skiing, wake surfing and paddle boarding - nothing was too much and everyone member of staff was super professional. It took any stress away from us to sit back and enjoy our weekend. Would highly recommend Ardlui Retreat, we had the best weekend and were totally taken care of from start to finish! Can’t wait to visit again at the end of the year to stay in one of they’re 5 star lodges which are also onsite. Thanks for having us.
