Meru is superb, and we especially loved the beautiful natural surroundings. The room was modern and stylish, designed with touches of Africa elements. The private balcony was the perfect spot to unwind with a cup of coffee while taking in the scenery. The dinner buffet offered a wide variety of delicious dishes, while the breakfast spread was extensive, with plenty of choices. "Service was excellent! WiFi has been upgraded to provide different access for different areas of hotel and we always had availability. Food was very good and our waiter put fresh flowers and petals on our table for each evening he knew we would dine there. Chef made breakfast boxes and lunch boxes to go for our early morning departures. We were always greeted warmly, and our room was clean and comfortable. I was there solo before and after my Kilimanjaro hike and with my husband for a week afterwards. We each highly recommend it."

We also appreciated the Guest Relations team, specifically Irene and Amrit, for proactively checking in on us. Our itinerary, including the coffee tour, the visit to Shanga, and the full property tour, was wonderful. Everyone was incredibly friendly, and the property truly stands out. The food was buffet style local food which tasted amazing. every meal was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. We genuinely looked forward to every dining experience. Our tour guide was phenomenal he was so friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate. They took care of everything, making us feel relaxed and looked after every moment. The safari trips they organized were simply unforgettable from the breathtaking landscapes, amazing wildlife encounters, and memories we will cherish forever. "I stayed for about two-weeks at Burka Coffee Lounge whilst undertaking a scholarly visit to the African Court on Human and Peoples' Rights, located nearby. The hotel was comfortable and clean with reliable wifi, and the staff were very nice and helpful. Many rooms have balconies with a table and chairs, which worked well for working on my computer. There are also several other outdoor spaces, including a pool and garden area. There is a restaurant on-site and mini supermarket for snacks. The food was very good but make sure to put in your order ahead of time. Overall, this is an excellent and affordable hotel with convenient proximity to the Court. I would certainly stay here again during future visits. Pictures included are views from one of the balconies attached to a guest room."

Food was delicious with a great mix of local and international cuisine. 🍽️ The rooms were comfortable, spacious, and well-maintained. Waking up to the fresh Arusha air every morning was just magical. "Come for the Coffee, Stay for the Beautiful, Lush Greenery. We stayed at the Arusha Coffee Lodge both on our way to our safari and on the day afterwards. The cabins have wooden balconies, spacious rooms, a step up to the sleeping area with a canopy bed, and a large bathroom with a shower and a separate tub. Both times, the room was decorated for us with flower blossoms on the bedspread, towels, and bathroom countertop. The room was charming, clean, and well sealed in from insects. We observed monkeys on the roof of another cabin chucking fruit onto the ground, just for kicks, I suppose. Despite the monkeys, the view was serene - greenery in every direction. The monkeys attempted to make a nuisance of themselves near the coffee shop and restaurant, but plenty of people working security at the hotel had slingshots. They only needed to stand and aim the slingshot, and the monkeys scattered. Anyway, we found this to be an excellent, safe, comfortable place to stay, with polite, professional staff and really quaint accommodations in the thick of trees and flowering shrubs. I am so glad we stayed here."
