This is a very nicely designed hotel with an inviting lobby area and a place where you can relax with a large opening to the outdoors. Our room was spacious enough to spread out our luggage and not have a mess.I am a picky customer and there are a few things that could be improved in the room: it would be useful to have more hooks in the bathroom so you can hang clothes and towels (there is just one hook where the hotel bathrobe is hung). The outlet at the vanity is so close to the desk surface that certain plugs can not be plugged into it (including the hair styling device that I wanted to use at the vanity), and the tv's remote control does not work well -- you have to keep pressing the buttons and waiting for them to ever work. These are little matters, but for the price we paid for our room I would expect better. Also, we could hear our loud-mouthed neighbor in the next room. We requested a room change due to her, but they were unfortunately booked up so we had to put up with the noise. Be forewarned that every Friday there is a "drum circle" tradition in the park just below the rooms. It only lasts until 9:45, just plan accordingly. A bright spot was the concierge who helped me track down an item I needed to bring to a family gathering. This was incredibly helpful and just the kind of service one wants in a good hotel. All in all, there are more good than bad things about the hotel, but the noise and some room features provided minor blemishes to an otherwise good experience.
