Step inside the spacious reception hall and you’ll start to feel very special because it has all the grandeur of a stately home; warm oak floors with wool rugs, deep red flock wallpaper, gilt-framed oil paintings and a huge fireplace. That classic country house look is continued throughout Severn Manor, it’s like a baby Downton Abbey, exclusively yours! Off the reception hall are the Oak Room and the formal Drawing Room, both with phenomenal carved oak fireplaces; the Drawing Room has a baby grand piano, so have a tinkle of the ivories after dinner, just like they did in Victorian times. A tiled inner hall leads to the main staircase, stunning in oak and wrought iron; look up and you’ll notice the ornate ceiling mouldings, all part of the historic character of this beautiful English country house. Next to the Drawing Room is The Snug, another room where those rich red hues work to wonderful effect, giving the feel of a Victorian ‘card Room’. Then there’s the Breakfast Room, with an outlook over the pretty garden, the perfect spot to kick start your day with coffee and croissants.
