Great
SShupingEvery day when I return to the room, it is carefully decorated and my clothes are carefully organized. The Nile River outside at dusk is the most beautiful scenery. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and we were very satisfied. The only drawback was that there were not many meal options, probably because of Ramadan. I don't understand why lunch and dinner cost the same but the amount of fries is three times the amount. The service staff was very nice and attentive. They knew it was my birthday and sent me a surprise, which was very unexpected to me. The birthday cake was the most delicious dessert I have ever had in Egypt. 💕
GGuest UserThe design of the room is very beautiful, the design of the hotel is also very beautiful, but the breakfast is very simple (coarse grain pancakes every day), it is cold when I wake up at 8 o'clock in the morning, there are few varieties, and the layout is also rather random. No one cleaned the room on the second night, and no mineral water was provided. Flies came into the room at night when I lived on the first floor, and I was asked to check out at 11 o'clock in the morning. The transportation recommended by the hotel to Philae Temple and the tour to Elephant Island were all charged higher than the market price.
JjzycnThis is a very contradictory B&B hotel that I don't know if it is worth recommending. Its shortcomings and advantages are very prominent. It is suitable for Internet celebrities to make photos (the following photos are all original photos without retouching), but it is not suitable for anyone who has certain requirements for ”accommodation” itself. If you can find any cheap + clean + similar scenery alternative hotel, it is recommended to change it, but if it is just for taking pictures and scenery, it may be ranked at the top in Nubian Village.
First of all, you have to be able to tolerate:
1. The hotel price is not cost-effective in the peak season, and the B&B offers the price of a five-star hotel.
2. Poor room facilities, rough-style furniture and narrow rooms, worrying bed sheets, bathroom shower water overflowing and drainage is useless, no slippers, toothbrushes, hair dryers (phone front desk can provide).
3. The breakfast is self-service and extremely simple and unpalatable, unlike some people who commented on the set and inexplicably praised it.
4. Tolerate or pay more to continue to tolerate the complaints of the chartered driver to drive into Nubian Village, and then contact the hotel by yourself in the middle of the night to change to a three-wheeled motorcycle in the deserted and dark mountains for 15 minutes to doubt life and reach the mountaintop hotel.
5. Other prices are very unreasonable. We originally wanted to book dinner for the New Year's Eve party, but it cost 100 US dollars per person...
What did we get here?
1. The balcony of the room can see the unbeatable sunrise on the west bank of the Nile. We witnessed the first light of 2025 here at 6 am.
2. The various poses in the cultural buildings of the Nubian Village are very photogenic.
3. The desert next to the hotel is very photogenic.
4. A very special cultural experience of a group of tourists jumping up and down the mountain in a row of three-wheeled vehicles.
5. The hotel service staff is relatively friendly. Finally, it is explained that Egypt is not a country where tipping is allowed. Carrying luggage is a basic service of any hotel in their country. No one asked for tips during the entire stay.
HHiromuI was surprised that there are such kind people.
All the staff at this hotel are kind.
To be honest, I was very sad because I caught a bad taxi on the way to the hotel.
However, the hotel staff saw me and encouraged me, and provided the best service.
They told me a lot about Nubian Village, which made me very happy. It's a shame that I didn't take many photos of the hotel.
I will never forget this hotel.
JJuanxincaibutaijuanThe scenery is quite good. The service attitude is quite average. I went to the front desk and asked if I could pay for the room in Egyptian pounds. My attitude was extremely harsh. I didn't want to move to the hotel on the second night, so I inquired about extending my stay. The front desk asked me to go back to the room and call me. In the end, I didn't receive a call, so I checked out directly. The rooms in this hotel are quite large, and the facilities are relatively old. It feels like they are chosen by locals. In addition, you must choose the number of people according to the actual number. I accidentally selected one person, and ended up paying a price difference of dozens of dollars.
GGuest UserAmazing time ,basic rooms ,but clean beds towels. Hot shower and the best view but 100% of the credit for our amazing time goes, to helma the manager and his staff especially khalid who was there for everything we needed , Helmy went above and beyond driving us to the sights for less than.a taxi , but the most amazing was. The Nile under our Balcony full of. Feluka boats to take you to ancient temples and delicious waterside cafes and historic islands this hotel might look nothing.but if you want the true Nubian experience of aswanth8s 8s the place for you ,basic breakfast of bread honey eggs and cheese with tomatoes for the price amazing ,, Linda and ivy uk x
GGuest UserWhat you see is what you get, very cute place. The whole village is super cute in dopamine style! Breakfast is delicious, you can eat on the balcony and the scenery is particularly good, directly see the Nile! The sister of the homestay also took me to touch the little crocodile for free! Super experience! This small village is especially suitable for hanging out and relaxing for a leisurely day!
MmsscullyThe door is the largest Souk in Aswan. It is very convenient to buy some snacks and water and coffee. Of course, you have to bargain. Hotel room facilities and hygiene are the level of the guest house, but the service is really good! There is a girl who can speak Chinese at the front desk, which is really cute! Very very friendly to the Chinese! Introduce us to delicious restaurants, and remind us to get up early to Abu Simbel to catch up with the hotel breakfast, the hotel can pack breakfast! The hotel is very close to the Nile River and it takes 10 minutes to walk. If you are in a good mood, you can sneak to KFC. Some local restaurants along the river can also try it. This season, the riverside wind is strong, a bit cold ~ Aswan hotels, basically two extremes, the price is OK here. But the hotel will have a power outage for an hour every day, I don't know why, and there are a lot of mosquitoes! The baby was bitten very poor... If you want to come, take precautions ~
GGuest UserThe most important thing in this hotel is not food, though it is perfect, and not even a stunning view from the windows - sincere location and readiness of Ahmed Shauki - the manager and host of the hotel, to help its guests in everything - that 's what makes Villa Misk the best!
GGuest UserThe facilities are old, but I decided to stay there because I had to get up at 4am to take part in the Abu Simbel Temple tour. The doorman called a taxi for me to get to the airport for a surprisingly cheap price, so that was a relief.
