I had an excellent stay at this hotel! The check-in process was smooth and welcoming. Although the room was not as large as some other hotels, it was very comfortable and well-maintained. The location is fantastic—just steps away from the Metaxourghio metro station, making it incredibly easy to get around. It’s only a few stops to Syntagma Square, where you can enjoy a lovely walk through the pedestrian street to Monastiraki. The breakfast was outstanding, offering a variety of delicious options to start the day. The staff were exceptionally helpful and even assisted us in arranging a taxi to the bus station. I highly recommend this hotel for its convenience, great service, and excellent breakfast!

Reception was very friendly during check-in and staff for breakfast was very nice. The facilities were alright for us. I'm not sure if it was just our room or the entire building but there was this constant ”smoke” smell during our stay that was very difficult to ignore in our room. They did offer us to change a room but after walking around the floor and lobby, might of been just a smell that was throughout the building. There was a used orange drink in our fridge which could of been easily missed by the maids but was a little concerning what else might of been missed. Again all minor issues that would not stop me from staying there again if needed.

The location was near a subway line which was convenient to get to Plaka and the Acropolis. Many good eateries nearby such as Alexander the Great and Central grill. Rooms are clean and spacious and front office staff was obliging and proactive. Had an early departure at 0600hrs and was allowed to have basic breakfast such as coffee and bread with jam although the cafe was not opened till 0700hrs. Overall value for money for the budget conscious.

The exterior of the hotel look inviting; however when we walked through the front door you can feel the heavy curtain around the lobby have not been clean for long time. All the sofa in the lobby are covered with some sort of clothes I guess it is to cover the old and uninviting sight. The check in process was straight forward and friendly. None of the light on the stairs are working and I had to use the flash light on my phone to light a path up and down the stairs, could be dangerous if you need to evacuate the hotel quickly. The room door has key card slot but I guess it is broken as I needed a physical key to unlock the room door and a keycard to turn on the electricity, the room size is good and high ceiling. The bathroom has no hook for the handheld shower head so not so convenient to have a shower, the water also not always hot enough. The air conditioner was blowing warm air even though the dial was set to cold and it made the room so more warmer and uncomfortable to sleep. The hotel reviews seem to suggest this is one of the common issue people has been complaining about for more than 10 years!!!! I ended up open all the windows to cool the room down and this invited traffic noise all night long. The hotel has been neglected for way too many years and surprisingly still in business????

I was a little concerned about the location based on some of the reviews I read, but it was convenient and felt safe. I am always a little wary of keypad entry places as opposed to keys, but it worked fine. I also thought it would be self check-in, but they do have someone at reception to help. The shower head was a little wonky, but other than that, great stay!

My adult daughter and I stayed here for 5 nights as a girls escape. The room was okay. The bathroom was really small and there’s no counter space in it. The kitchenette was perfect. The location was close to the Metro and famous attractions. Be careful about coming back to late in the evening. The sidewalk/roads get pretty dark. If we stayed again, we hope we’d get a larger room.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the Metaxourgeio metro station. The rooms are comfortable and well maintained. Cable channels include the BBC and the tea kettle is a welcome amenity. The breakfast hour is an enjoyable experience. Management is friendly and attentive. I am happy to recommend this hotel.

The room is clean and tidy. The service is very good! When we asked to store our belongings for more than 24 hours, the boss told us without hesitation that it was no problem. Although the room is not big, it has all the necessary facilities. The hotel environment is good. It is very close to the subway entrance and convenient for travel. 🏩High cost performance. We will choose to stay here again when we come back from the surrounding areas.

It is very close to the city and is very convenient to various attractions in the city. There is a 24-hour restaurant downstairs, which is convenient for eating.
