"The hotel is a bit far from the city, the traffic is not very convenient, the facilities are very general, and the price is relatively high. In general, the hotel is not cost-effective, and many of them are travelled in the past."
"The receptionist was really friendly and checking in was super fast and easy. Time at the hotel was peaceful and extremely relaxing. Highly recommend this establishment."

"I feel that this Ctrip did not write clearly, this hotel is clearly a motel, but nothing is marked, we were dumbfounded when we arrived, the hotel could not see any hotel lobby, and it was directly open on the side of the road. The hotel, the first floor arranged for us, is equivalent to opening the door directly to the side of the road. It is possible for people passing by to pry at your door. The most important thing is that any information of the occupants is not required. How complicated the staff is, of course, there are advantages, the room can cook, the hotel is next to the supermarket, you can buy things to cook, but the advantages and disadvantages are obvious, depending on how you weigh, we can completely live in a four-star hotel, I didn't expect to live in a motel"
"Good location for those in West Auckland. Near to New Nynn mall and restaurants.
Normal service. Typical NZ motel.
A bit old motel.
Has a swimming pool, suana and spacious car parking."
"We like this Hotel and stay here each time we go to Auckland. It's within walking distance to Westfield Mall, cafes and the train station. The room is clean and tidy, maybe a bit dated but perfect for staying a night or two, the only thing we didn't enjoy was the very noisy guests in the next room!"
"The front desk staff was very friendly and helped solve all the problems. They boiled water and stored our luggage. They also helped us get into the room early because we were too tired from jet lag. The price was very affordable. It was about a 15-minute walk from Queen Street. You can also order Uber for takeout, and the delivery fee was cheap."
"📍It is relatively close to One Tree Hill. There is a shopping mall nearby. There are drugstores and supermarkets in the shopping mall. It is about ten minutes' drive from the Sky Tower and the port. It is more convenient to drive by yourself. The hotel has its own parking lot, which is not big but enough for guests to park.
🍃This is a hotel run by Chinese, and everyone from the front desk to the cleaning staff seems to be Chinese. Friendly for people who don't speak English well. The front desk is not 24 hours a day, like most New Zealand hotels.
🌟The facilities are average and a bit old. The air conditioner didn't turn on the hot air. I don't know what happened. There was a loud noise in the room when I took a shower... I stayed for three days in a row and all the tea bags and coffee rolls🧻 were replenished. Only facial tissues were replenished on the second and third days. Ten pictures...other than that everything is okay, there are shampoo and shower gel, and it's quite quiet at night.
🎀There is a small kitchen with complete tableware (knives, forks, cups and dishes), a microwave, a refrigerator and a sink."
"Staff is friendly but I did not want or appreciate the 8:30am door knock from cleaning or the 9pm calls asking if we want or need anything because we did not get our room serviced."
"The hotel is in a very good location, right in the city center, and it is very convenient to go anywhere. DFS duty-free shop and CW are nearby, which is suitable for Citywalk. The hotel facilities are old. They are taken over from other hotels and are now gradually renovated. The sanitation is not cleaned carefully. There are garbage left by the previous guests behind the curtains. The toilet lid cannot be fixed and slides down automatically, which is very inconvenient to use. The equipment in the room is quite noisy at night. The service attitude is good and they are willing to actively solve any problems."

Great
AAnonymous UserOverall is fine, but hotel is inflexible in making some changes just due to we booked through trip.com. I bought a room for 2 nights in a separate bookings which the second night come with breakfast while the first night does not. Due to my flight schedule, I request to swap the breakfast to first night and is being rejected. Reason being I booked in separate booking and through agency, they couldn’t do any changes about it.
Well, this reason does not really sound convincing for me, because the breakfast is buffet style, is not a difficulty to add another 2 person in I guess. Yet I am not asking for free, I had paid for it.
GGuest UserOverall are very good location for holiday stays. Stayed for 2 nights and it was great. Nice clean room, nice location not in the noisy city centre but not far from CBD. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would prefer higher floor level for better harbour view.
JJon-MLHKThe experience was mostly good... staff were quite helpful except for 1 thing.... (see below); place was well located, clean.. ambient temperature was good even though there was only 1 a/c unit.. maybe be different in high summer..
encountered 2 issues:-
1) The door to balance is left opened.... hotel would not provide a key to lock it... as no key is given out... the lock may be incorporated in the door handle when lifted.. appeared this particular door may not be installed properly..
2) Very strange - The receptionist refused to reserved a parking space for me for some reason... (under 3 separately occassion, day after check-in, day before needing to use and the actual morning of the day of use).. and when i drove the rental car to the hotel.. it was full as apparently; i did not book....
GGuest UserI am very thankful got to stay at Airport Kiwi Motel as I left my bag on the yellow bus and reception gentleman helped me to track it back for me wothout missing anything. The room is spacious and cups and bowls with other kitchen items are very helpful and clean. just that i heard neighour room's noise like kids talking and adult snooring :D I will book again if i need to change flights in short days.
JJobi TWe had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The facilities were excellent, offering everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing experience. The rooms were spacious, modern, and impeccably clean. The staff was also friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant stay from check-in to check-out. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a neat, well-equipped hotel.
It was little far from airport , but there is a yellow bus which connects airport and hotels every specific intervals.
AAnonymous UserWi-Fi is bad, cutting in and out… useless! Takes forever to watch a 30min show on the TV…. Ended up giving up on trying.
So many light don’t work (the one above bathroom mirror and above the Mini bar)
My room’s balcony faces Halsey St, and is noisy as xxxx coming from heavy vehicle or construction machine etc.
GGuest UserPicked us up from airport and took to motel. Was clean and looked after by lovely staff. Left the next morning. Would definitely stay again as a very easy process
GGuest UserI recently had the pleasure of staying at the Gateway Airport Hotel in Mangere, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hotel's proximity to the airport made it an ideal choice for my travels, but it was the outstanding service, impressive facilities, and delicious food that truly made my stay memorable.
The service at the Gateway Airport Hotel was top-notch. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. From the warm greeting at check-in to the helpful assistance with my luggage, every interaction I had with the staff was pleasant and professional.
The hotel's facilities were modern, clean, and well-maintained. My room was spacious and comfortable, with a plush bed, a large flat-screen TV, and a convenient workspace. The bathroom was clean and well-appointed, with a great shower and plenty of towels. I also appreciated the hotel's fitness center and business center, which were both well-equipped and easily accessible.
One of the highlights of my stay was the food. The hotel's restaurant served a delicious breakfast buffet, with a wide range of options to suit all tastes. I also enjoyed dinner at the restaurant, which offered a great selection of local and international dishes. The food was tasty, well-presented, and reasonably priced.
Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with the Gateway Airport Hotel in Mangere. The combination of excellent service, modern facilities, and delicious food made for a truly enjoyable stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a convenient, comfortable, and memorable place to stay in Auckland.

GGuest UserThis praise is not given to the boss, but to several service personnel. When I checked out on March 10, I forgot the wallet with Australian dollar cash and bank card in the room. When I went to the hotel again, my wallet was still there. In particular, I would like to thank a male young staff member who works on Sunday. I explained the situation, he took me to the room to find it, and found it. Thank you very much for this young man. Send this praise to him and other service staff. Thank you!
王王All aspects of the hotel are acceptable, but please pay attention to the issue of refund
A deposit of 150 yuan is required at check-in. When you swipe your credit card, you are asked whether you want to spend or pre-authorize.
Check out to confirm that there is no loss deduction, and no refund will be seen after five days, call to ask, saying that the operation failed when refunding, and ask me if I have another card
I didn’t argue too much and provided another card number, but obviously, my card is always easy to use, and why not contact the customer if the refund fails? They have phone and email
Guests staying please keep the check-in date and room number, so as to avoid similar situations, you can make it clear
The average price for hotels in Auckland is SAR 728 on weekdays, and SAR 717 on weekends (Friday-Saturday).
