Residence Inn Augusta

Anita went above and beyond to make us feel welcome when we arrived late in the evening! I appreciated her kindness and attentiveness. She was quick to help and wasn’t just hiding in the back when no one was there to serve. She was out sanitizing tables and was quick to greet and help us. Although Anita was amazing, the hotel could improve. We were assigned a room that smelled smokey (Anita quickly got us a new room). The pillows also were only one size (big and fluffy) which isnt my preference for sleeping. Additionally, early in the morning there was a homeless lady loitering in the sliding door area, waiting to sneak in on someone else’s swipe (which she did get in on my swipe). The other front desk person who was working the morning was hiding in the back so I had to ring the bell several times, hoping she would come address the homeless lady.

Anita was the best night hostess I ever had at a hotel. Every time I walked in she always ask if I needed anything, how was my day going. I felt like I was home with how kind she was about everything she did that night. She also always made sure their was fresh coffee though out the night. Hands down near night hostess I had any any hotel so far.

I stay at Residence Inns very often. Anita at the front desk was so pleasant, professional and helpful that it impacted me to write this review. This newer property is comfortable and very well taken care of. It has easy access to the highway to most attractions and many restaurants. A+
