The Longhorn Lodge keeps much of its original character and historic charm while incorporating many updated features, including central air & heat, stainless steel appliances and a full size washer & dryer. Enjoy the outdoors with a backyard with a patio and picnic table. Lots to walk to and LESS THAN A 1/2 BLOCK to the local and lovely Wheatsville Co-op grocery store, legendary Black's BBQ, delicious Via 313 Pizza and bar, Hopfields, a french inspired gastropub and The Cheba Hut, a sub shop with a full bar and grill - all with great indoor and outdoor seating options.Please note, while the Longhorn Lodge has lots to offer, it is an old home - doors and floors can creak, windows can shake and, at times, the bustling outside city can be heard indoors. Weekdays are relatively quiet but weekends can be lively into the night.This is NOT a party house. The home is in a wonderful neighborhood. Our neighbors are longtime home owners, families, professors and students. We respect their privacy and, therefore, can not allow any parties or events of any kind.
