Rustic Chalet Retreat w/ Hot Tub

Cute lodge, good communication, bad location We stayed as we were checking out Canadian Lakes to potentially purchase property. The communication with the property owner was exceptional for this rental.The Lodge itself is cute though it is missing several things in the kitchen that could be helpful- like a wine opener, a knife, and better cookware. The area of Canadian lakes that this house is in must be the area that does not require people to keep their properties. There were several properties with junk in yards and a distressed look.The property owners allowed us to use our the kayaks and paddle boards, but I don’t know how you would get them to the lake because the location is quite far from the water, and there is no easy way to transport the gear. Didn’t matter because they were spraying chemicals in the lake while we were there so we were unable to use the beaches or lakes. We did golf while there and all the golf folks in course were great. The CL amenities like the pools were fine. Food in the area is sufficient, it’ll keep you nourished. Overall for what we paid I think this property could have been a bit nicer, but it’s cute and owner communication was good

Cozy Nice quiet location and very clean. Owner answered any questions quickly. Highly recommend!

Get away Nice and clean, everything as described, hot tub was nice.
