First off, the staff here is wonderful. Great folks who try very hard to take care of their guests. The location is also excellent as you can walk to the beach in 3 minutes and it is only about a mile to Stone Harbor. The stay is very dependent on the room you get. Our room looked like it had not been updated in decades and was probably the worst thing I have seen in decades as well. The owner should be ashamed for putting something like this on the market. If you stay here, make sure that you know EXACTLY what room you are getting.

August beach trip We had a wonderful stay. The room was a great size, clean and right around the corner from the pool. The bed was comfortable and there were things to use to cook and eat there. The pool was our favorite! The patio area has plenty of seating and it’s such a nice outside area. The front desk staff were helpful and I appreciated the beach tags. We will definitely be coming back!

Room itself was well appointed and centrally located. Hotel added additional resort charges to those outlined by *******. Upon paying at the resort with a credit card, an additional 3% of the total bill was charged to cover credit card costs. Desk staff indicated that the same charge would have been levied had I used a debit card. I discover this additional charge only when I reviewed my American Express app. On line it also states that the hotel does not accept cash

WARNING!! DO NOT BOOK A RESERVATION AT THIS PROPERY!! I booked a 1BR Unit at the Beachcomber for a family trip this summer and got full confirmation and receipt for payment from not only the booking website I used - but I also received a welcome e-mail from a host of the Beachcomber property. Under the assumption I then had a completely confirmed reservation at the Beachcomber Resort, I then went ahead and booked over $2,000 in non-refundable travel arrangements under the confidence that there was no possible way my reservation could be cancelled. Well, much too my shock and dismay, the property then turned around a full day later and cancelled my entire reservation with the excuse that the booking website should not have allowed the reservation to go through because they actually didn't have a room available for my family on those dates. Please note that Beachcomber Resort had several other available listings on all the major travel websites for those exact dates when I was booking my reservation - so this is obviously some sort of "Bait & Switch" scam going on that this property. So, you've been warned, they can and will arbitrarily just go ahead and cancel your reservation - stay away !!!

The unit and property were immaculate and well-maintained. It was lovely, quiet and safe.

Great location, comfy, spacious stay Overall, our unit was very clean, spacious, and nice. Also, there were many extras like Keurig coffeemaker, with coffee pods, dishwasher, stove, ice trays. Two TV’s-in living area and in the bedroom! First day pool had leaves/bugs in it, second day was clean. Hot tub was good. Great location—1 block to brewery/restaurant and the beach!
