We came to hike in the Cairngrom National Park for 3 days and stayed in one of the Armadillos which has a built in bathroom and kitchen sink and refrigerator. We opted to have Gill’s lovely breakfast every morning before the hike. For $15/person it gave us the energy for the whole day. We also took her homemade muffins on the hike…..Ken was very friendly and helpful checking us in and provided much needed instructions on the Armadillo. We’ll definitely come back to stay if we are in the area again.

We had a fantastic stay in a great location, just 20 minutes from the town centre and tucked away from the hustle and bustle. The owners were very friendly, the accommodation was great, and the breakfast was delicious. We highly recommend this place for your stay. Thank you to Ken and Gill for your wonderful hospitality. From the moment we arrived at Eriskay, we were made to feel exceptionally welcome by Ken & Gill and knew the whole experience was going to be first class. They are clearly very passionate about their business, and it shows. Ken gave us the tour of the facilties, including the shared bothy area where you can prepare meals, sit at the dining table and even play a game of darts! We were staying in one of the glamping pods. It was so cosy with everything you need to feel comfortable and have a relaxing stay. The en suite wet room was a genius use of the space! There was also a lovely little space outside the pod where we were able to enjoy a coffee in the fresh air. We decided to opt for having breakfast at the accommodation and we were not disappointed. Gill's home cooked hot plates were the best meals we had while we were in Aviemore! Delicious food and friendly hosts made for a great start to our day. We also got to meet their umbrella cockatoo, and my personal highlight was Leyla, the adorable pug. We really couldn't fault anything. It was an excellent weekend - comfy and clean accommodation, great food, and the most welcoming hosts you could hope for. The accommodation itself is set back from the main road. It's really quiet and feels secluded, but it is only a five minute walk from the high street, with access to shops, bars, and restaurants. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful experience staying at Eriskay B&B. From the moment we arrived, the hosts made us feel completely at home – so warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. It’s clear they care deeply about their guests, and their kindness really made our stay special. Our room was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The attention to detail was evident throughout the property. Breakfast in the morning morning was freshly prepared and absolutely delicious – a perfect start to the day. What stood out most was the atmosphere. It didn’t feel like just a place to sleep – it felt like staying with friends. We left feeling rested, well looked after, and already hoping to return. Can’t recommend Eriskay B&B highly enough!

The experience has been superb! We enjoyed the hospitality of Ken and Gill and the delicious breakfast. The Glamping is very cozy and offers everything you need. This was our 3rd year back visiting Ken & Gill at Eriskay, we started off visiting this place as we enjoyed trying new places but we have since returned every year for the fantastic hospitality provided by them both. Ken & Gill go out their way to ensure you know the area, the best places to eat and serve the best well varied breakfasts we personally have ever had in Aviemore! We stay in the glamping pods each year and can't fault them, from the cleanliness of the pods and the shower/toilet area within them, the cosyness and the access to their lovely heated bothy which have cooking/washing facilities, a dining table to enjoy your food and many many board games to enjoy as a couple or a family, or you can cosy up infront of their fire inside & watch some TV if you fancy it. If you love being in the company of animals then this is your place to enjoy a cuddle with Leyla the Pug or a pet of Moya the Cockatoo who are both the sweetest and most patient pets with the guests, I even noticed if guest aren't too sure of animals, Ken & Gill ensure to give them their space & put the animals away. We really don't have anything bad to say about Eriskay, we leave every year looking forward to returning as Ken & Gill make this place feel like a home from home! We enjoy getting outdoors for walks/hikes, which are all accessible via a short car journey and even on foot. If you decide to visit here, you will not be disappointed!!
