Candlewood Suites Avondale-New Orleans

The receptionist Sarah was very welcoming, she made our entire stay comfortable. She was very helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate our request.i would 100% recommend this hotel just for the experience Sarah provided us with during our stay.

Stay for 8 days no housekeeping. I was told they would clean every 3 days. Front desk girl Jess complete liar. I asked to have my room to be cleaned and they said ok but My room still never got cleaned. I see housekeeping everyday so why isn't my room being cleaned? I came in late one night and explained to kerisha what my experience was like and she was so friendly about unlike the morning and evening shifts. I went back to my room and kerisha brought me a new set of bed sheets and a vaccum since i choose a hotel with no housekeeping. will not be coming back and will not be recommending to friends and family. I did ask the white housekeeper with blonde hair for towels when she was on the 3rd floor and she said ok and never brought them to me. ALSO asked front desk for some towels at 5:15 and the lady told me that they had nun clean. ridiculous staffing. Came in the next morning asked to speak to manager and lady told me that she was a housekeeping manager why is she al up in the front desk if she is a housekeeping manager maybe she needs to go check her housekeepers because clearly nothing is being done.

Jessica was very welcoming, she made our entire stay comfortable. She was knowledgeable about the area and the hotel and went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed. The hotel was under construction but the room we stayed in was completely renovated. It was clean housekeeping staff was friendly so was the other front desk staff. They were missing some things in the suites due to the construction but Jessica was able to get us everything we needed. When I visit the area again I will return. Jessica is an asset and really made our stay worth it.
