I would have given this a 5/5 because the actual rooms entrance parking and the corridors etc are beautiful . The attention to detail in the soft furnishings and interior design is first class. Lovely shower products and handsets and beautiful soft Egyptian cotton bed linens.. plenty of space and everything was beautifully appointed…. However because this is a non reception concierge hotel there is no one about to raise concerns about the level of noise created by the very rude and inconsiderate guests who banged every door and shouted in very loud voices outside our room at 22.45 pm. Don’t know who they were but there were make and female voices. Also someone a make had obviously forgotten his PIN number and called someone to help on speaker.. so nothing wrong with hotel itself unfortunately it’s the same old story nowadays selfish inconsiderate people who do not think of anyone but themselves..

Facilities excellent. However the auto check in was frustrating and tiresome. An ‘extra’ charge appeared at check in apparently for room contents insurance. Never heard of this at any other hotel we have stayed at. Felt a bit underhand not showing this charge at the time of booking.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. On the plus side, the hotel itself is nice, with good amenities that catered to my needs. The bed was comfortable, and I slept well. However, I encountered some issues during my stay. The AC unit in my room was very difficult to operate, and I struggled to get it to a comfortable temperature. What really stood out, though, was the lack of personal touch. Check-in was done entirely via email, and I was given a code to access my room. There was no staff member present to welcome me or offer any assistance. In fact, there was no staff present at the hotel at all during my stay. It felt very impersonal and automated. While the hotel's amenities were good, the absence of human interaction made my stay feel less special. If you're looking for a hotel with a more personal touch, you might want to consider other options.

Fantastic food, staff amazing and the rooms of highest quality Location is also excellent being near Ayr station, town centre and Ayr beach I would certainly recommend giving this place a visit, even if only for the food and service provided

Great Visit to Ayr My wife and I visited and stayed 2 nights the room was great, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The access in and out of the hotel was easy and the coded entry made life easier than having to deal with room keys. We ate locally and the easy access to so many restaurants and bars was great.
