L'Fisher Chalet

Good stay in Bacolod A nice place to stay in Bacolod City. Facilities are a bit old, need refurbishing, not so clean as it used to be.

Room on first night was absolutely terrible. No windows, no natural light, and awfully noisy wall mounted a/c. Complained next morning and to their credit they moved us into a much nicer room (3027). Every room in this hotel only has the noisy wall mounted a/c so the older the a/c, the noisier it will be. My partner slept with earplugs every night. The hotel is in desperate need of renovation. Especially the pool area. Given that the Radisson is nearby, in a very convenient location, brand new, and only a few dollars more a night, that is where we will be staying in future.

I love this hotel, have been here 7 times now and always give it a visit whenever i am in phil, the area is pretty safe and amenities are excellent, variety of the buffet breakfast is what draws me back everytime and staff are always so pleasant....some rooms are a bit dated but they are renovating the rooms a few at a time...pleasant experience

The problem with this hotel is lack of maintenance. Everything seems to be from the 1990s and of course it doesn’t matter how hard you try and clean and maintain things it just doesn’t look good. The basics are wrong such as the bathroom where the hot water takes 5 minutes to get warm. The toilet keeps getting blocked and the aircon is more than 20 years old and probably a bacteria paradise.

Our stay was ok. King bed was comfy. We got a spacious bathroom. Needs upgrade with their water system. The water in the shower smells rusty. It was a struggle looking for parking spot. Lots of selection in the breakfast buffet. Overall it was ok.

Not my 1st time in Bacolod but 1st time to stay in L'Fisher. Expected nothing much. The Chalet is at the back of the main hotel, their rooms are quite bigger than the ones in the main hotel. Not much about the lobby and corridors, its just simple. And I didn't really feel the air conditioning at the lobby, but that's OK. Our room was a family suite, 2 separate rooms with 2 TBs. It was very spacious and almost complete in amenities in the common space and bathrooms. Almost because a bidet was lacking. I wish next time I come back, they would install bidets :) And the downside of our room was, it was located near a KTV place across the street, for 2 nights tho, music was a bit loud but they would tone down before 10pm. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel!
