We were looking for a last-minute-stay in the beautiful Ausseerland. After a visit to the Spa with Saunas and hot spring pools, we had a great dinner in the restaurant. The room on the ground floor was generous and had a terrace with direct access to the surrouding pastures. As we wanted to watch a movie in bed, the swivel tv-mount was much appreciated, as this setup allowed for very comforable positions. An energizing morning run completed our stay. We certainly recommend this hotel.

Customer service is appallingly bad. You feel you are an inconvenience to them and their understanding of hospitality is so basic. Smiling and cheerfulness is not on the menu and the woman at breakfast and lunch confronted us as to why we did not eat the greasy undercooked fatty 'crispy' bacon. Felt like we were back in school being pulled up for doing something wrong. We thought it was the Austrian manner but found out on our visit to GRAZ that the people were lovely so seems to be just the crew here. It's a Pitt because the location is beautiful. Pillows are terrible as are the bead clothes and to have no air-conditioning in a 4 star resort is not acceptable. Other than that it was great..!

Bathhouse catering: Lunch as a day guest. When asked for an extra pastry to go with a semolina dumpling soup with strips of vegetables, a square, sweet yeast pastry was brought out! It was served as a side dish to the soup. When asked if there were any other pastries available, such as rolls, pretzel sticks, etc., the waiter replied: "I have rolls, nothing more!" And this from a kitchen that apparently also supplies the hotel restaurant. "Enjoy our high-quality culinary offerings during your relaxing stay," the website promises. With all due respect, every sausage stand has a larger selection of pastries. This forces you to bring your own snack the next time you stay as a day guest. It's a real shame.

Since we were so impressed in February and everything went so well, we repeated our stay with high expectations! Everything was also clarified at check-out, but it's a shame about the unnecessary wait, which we would have liked to have spent in the thermal baths. This time the thermal baths were truly an oasis of peace and quiet. Excellent. Dinner was fine, and the service in the restaurant was once again very attentive. Breakfast was good, but the juice from the vending machines, which didn't really work, was powdered, unworthy of a wellness hotel in this price range. No pastries were refilled (an hour before breakfast ended). The omelet was delicious. We'd love to come back anyway and hope for the same level of service as in February.

Great hotel, the thermal baths are in the same building complex and you can go from your room to the thermal baths in your bathrobe, very friendly staff, we had a junior suite and spontaneously extended our stay by one night, that was no problem and we were able to stay in the same room. The junior suite has a separate toilet, bathroom, living room/bedroom, Nespresso machine, fridge, balcony with a great view and 2 chairs and a table. We only had breakfast and that was really great

It was OK for the price (€200.00 as a solo traveler). I would have expected more for the price. The resort is great, no question about it. The half board is misleading, as it says €40.00 per day (!!!), when in fact it's only for the first day. The prices are borderline for food and drinks, but that would still be OK. The sauna bistro wasn't open until 2:00 PM on the first day, and was closed today... apparently there weren't enough staff. The employees were mostly nice, but some were rude in their replies, and you could tell they lacked motivation... I wonder why that is!? Overall, the stay was borderline good value for money; I wouldn't (won't) come again.

+ Dinner is not tied to a fixed time. We know that from other hotels. "Dinner from 6 p.m." etc. Here, with the flex board, you can eat dinner either in the sauna area, in the thermal spa restaurant or something a little "more upscale" in the in-house restaurant. For example, on Friday we were in the thermal spa all evening until 9 p.m., eating in the pool restaurant in our bathrobes. (You have to reserve a table in the restaurant at short notice - hot food served all day from 11.30 a.m. to 8 p.m.) + Menu "trimmed" to be healthy, everything very tasty. Lots of choice. Lots of vegetables and salads. Had food in the restaurant, thermal spa restaurant and sauna area. Everything was very good! + Lots of choice for breakfast + Wellness area not overcrowded. According to a member of staff, day guests are of course also allowed in the wellness area, but they only have a certain quota available. If this is used up, no one else is allowed in. Great idea, the wellness area is never full, so the noise level is also discreet + super friendly staff + own sauna area in the basement. 5-6 different saunas. The sauna master also does a great job with the infusion + clean hotel, really good food. Conclusion: this could be the hotel for my wife and me where we say we come once a year and have a vacation. We really liked it. Top! Brilliant!

The hotel's location and the view from the room are stunningly beautiful. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The room is very large and spacious. The only thing I don't find ideal is that the route from the hotel to the thermal baths leads directly through the bar and the entrance area, which isn't very pleasant in a bathrobe and slippers.
