One of the finest properties in Nepal — perfect location, beautiful ambience, and excellent amenities. What truly stood out, though, was the exceptional hospitality. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to accommodate every request. We stayed for a birthday celebration, and their thoughtful service made it truly special. If you’re looking to create unforgettable memories, this 5-star resort is the place to be.

It was a lovely stay at The Terraces. The view to the Kathmandu valley was stunning and the mountain view during the clearer skies were worth it. The service was tiptop and everyone was so kind and helpful. The FnB Manger Suman has very friendly and do not hesitate to go extra miles to provide the best service. We will certainly be back to The Terraces when we are travelling to Nepal again.

Located on the top of a mountain, 1.5 hours' drive from Kathmandu, the hotel has a beautiful and quiet environment, good service, games and sports, sauna and spa, morning yoga, and hiking. The natural scenery is beautiful and unique. However, the mountain road leading to the hotel is in poor condition, and traffic jams occur from time to time. I heard that a new road is being built. If the road is repaired, it is estimated that the drive from Kathmandu will be one hour.

All good we had a truly relaxing and pleasant stay. The room was perfectly maintained with a comfortable temperature, making it cozy and inviting throughout the day and night. The bed was exceptionally clean and soft, with fresh, high-quality bed sheets that felt gentle on the skin. The pillows were fluffy and supportive, providing a restful night’s sleep. Every detail reflected thoughtful hospitality and care. The warmth and cleanliness of the bedding added to the overall comfort. It felt just like home, if not better. I truly appreciate the effort put into maintaining such a peaceful and well-prepared space.

We had an amazing experience and felt our trip was too short for us to enjoy! The hospitality was great because there was a time when a bird crashed into a window and the front guards took care of it! Also the pull apart garlic bread was too good.

Nestled away from the chaos of the city, the property offers an unmatched sense of serenity—quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by nature, it’s the perfect getaway for anyone looking to unwind. From the moment I arrived, the warmth and hospitality of the team stood out, especially Mr. Suman, the General Manager, who personally welcomed us with such grace and genuine care—it immediately set the tone for a wonderful stay. The location is excellent, offering a beautiful balance between accessibility and seclusion. The rooms are spacious, very well-appointed, and open up to a truly splendid view of the Kathmandu valley—waking up to that vista was a highlight in itself. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience tranquility, comfort, and impeccable service in the hills above Kathmandu.
