Muy tranquilo buen servicio y limpieza

We arrived at Samba Vallarta on June 17th, 2025 and checked out June 20th, 2025. We checked out 2 days early it was so bad. Rooms weren't up to standard. The balcony had a rotted wood railing that gave way and almost fell 3 stories to the ground with me right behind it. I told the front desk and management 3 days in a row and nobody came to fix it. Not a good level of caring. The hotel adjoining room door needs a bolt. It was just a regular door handle. Didn't feel safe. Alarm clock was broken and couldn't get replaced. The chain lock on door was installed the wrong way so it was useless. There is really only one restaurant where you can get any variety and that's the buffet. The specialty restaurants are only open for dinner if you can get in and the Italian isn't good. The restaurant by the pool served the normal hotdogs and such but wasn't really edible. We were sick of the food after 2 days. The manager Carmen is giving me the run around on a refund. We left early and gave them 2 days notice. Should be easy to not charge us for the last 2 nights we were not staying there. We knew Samba Vallarta still might charge us but we left anyway it was so terrible.

Trip Advisor I arrived June 19, 2025 in the afternoon. I was delighted as we pulled up to the resort. It was the resort on the website! Everything was exactly the same! I am thrilled to be here! The lady at checkout was so gracious. She spoke English very well yet let me practice my poor Spanish. Gualoupe took my luggage to my room and showed me the lights and balcony. Such a lovely man. He even held my arm going up the ramp outside as I am a bit mobility challenged. My first night at the buffet restaurant was great. Hot, delicious good, the apple strudel dessert was so good. Oniver was the best. He kept me watered and again let me practice my Spanish. As I watched the service around me I was impressed by the time the service staff took to talk to the guests. So very efficient and friendly. Now my room! Winner! Spacious, great AC! Housekeeping has been great. My room was cleaned well when I left. No one bothered me as I slept until noon as I had very little sleep on my travel day. Yesterday I enjoyed a day sitting in the snack bar where Carlos took great care of me. The margaritas were delicious as was the new drink I tried called the Vampire! Dinner was at the buffet again. Lovely selection and something for everyone. Oniver was there to assist me again. Maurio was also on hand when I needed more water! The hostess was still friendly and provided me a chair with no arms. This allowed me more comfort while enjoying my meal and people watching.
