Excelente hotel, ubicación a pasos de la playa , piscina con hermosas vistas . Cuartos cómodos con buenos servicios y balcón privado. Parking pago 15 eu x día. Gracias a Antonio por su cordialidad y buena disposición en el desayuno. Muy buena experiencia!! Lo recomiendo.

Booked a Holiday for June of this year 2025( through Loveholidays) and when I arrived at the destination Club Hotel Cormorano, Baja Sardinia, Italy,I became a little concerned as the building on first appearance looked a little worse for wear and nothing like the crisp clean photos that we had viewed online. In my mind I thought maybe a little paint would sort that. Once we entered into the reception area to book in we were told by a lady at reception that there was no room available! No apology, no explanation just that there was no room available. Obviously we thought they were joking or there was a simple mistake, but they weren't! We told them that this was all booked for and paid for in advance and even though they knew that it made no difference. The Receptionist just kept saying I understand but there is no room available .No apology, no explanation just that there was no room. We asked to speak to the Manager who was not prepared to meet us at first ,but eventually had to because we saw him hiding out of sight and Coaching the Receptionist. He then lied to us and claimed he wasn't the manager, then told us that we could protest all we liked, but there would be no room available and that we would have to take alternative accomodation in a hotel in Puerto Cervo which is in a remote location and needed transport to get to and from anywhere .The reason we chose Hotel Cormorano was precisely because if its location and proximity to beaches and restaurants and of course the reviews which I would now question. The Manager claimed that someone higher up made the decision that there would be no room available despite the fact that we had paid in advance. There was no explanation, no empathy, no consideration for the fact that we had travelled from Ireland in full expectation that all was well and looking forward to our holiday which was a gift to my wife for her 60th birthday. We were baffled by the lack of consideration and explanation and zero empathy for a problem that was not of our making. This was something so out of the blue and without any rational explanation and something that I have never experienced in all my years travelling. So unfortunately I cannot give a more detailed view of the premises and facilities other than the fact that the Reception area also looked worn and in need of a good cleaning. The way we were treated here remains a mystery! The fact that a Manager could behave this way is an even greater one!

This hotel is quite nice, the staff are friendly and the rooms are very clean, the breakfast is also pretty good with plenty of choice. It’s only a short walk to a few restaurants and a couple of shops Around 10 minutes walk to a local supermarket The hotel itself is a bit dated and the balcony rails look like they are ready to fall off The pool bar is nice but a bit expensive (€5 for a Coke Zero) €9 for a glass of wine The major downside to this hotel is the pool, the first issue is cleanliness, it’s not very clean with a visible layer of scum against the top waterline all week. BUT the main issue is sunbeds by the pool, there are 150 guests and only 50 sunbeds,so you will only have a 1 in 3 chance of nabbing a bed, the hotel policy is, if the bed has a towel on it but is unattended (you are not in the pool or at the bar) then you can take the bed but this causes a few quite aggressive arguments during the week, there is ample room at the poolside for at least another 25/30 beds but the management were unwavering in their policy on this and did not provided beds. Also there are NOT free hotel sunbeds at the beach and if you want one it’s €33 for 2 or €39 if you want from 2 rows so quite an expensive extra to consider and during peak times you are advised to book well in advance The nearby resort is ok but a bit boring as not much to do, some good places to eat but all seem to sell the same stuff (pizza pasta) and at as in on the pricy side A hidden surprise for you is this, if you go to the beach front and walk to the Casablanca hotel, on the right hand side as you look at it there is a small path, at dusk (8:30 pm in June) walk down the trail about 6-7 minutes and keep going till you can’t go any further and there you will get to see the most beautiful sunset, it truly is worth it guys All in all I’m giving it a fair 3.5 as it was ok but we would not return here

Attractive hotel that is very clean. It is close to all amenities, beach, restaurants, bars and supermarket up the road. We had a room that faced the road and found that closing the shutters helped reduce the external noise. I found the bed comfortable but my husband found them too hard. There is tea/coffee making facilities in the room but the cardboard cups don’t get changed (you can get more at breakfast near the drinks machines). The shower is excellent. We did occasionally get disturbed by noise from other rooms at night. The pool area is very clean and you have a free beach towel to last you all week. There is a pool bar which we didn’t realise served food until the last day of our stay. It should serve snacks with alcoholic drinks like the other bars in town. There are not enough sun loungers by the pool for the number of guests. The pool rules say they will remove towels that are left on the loungers. However, this doesn’t happen in practice so you can be left with no lounger while towels are left on empty loungers for hours. We had no idea you could use loungers for free on the beach. Breakfast is great with lots of choice. Communication really needs to be improved. There should be information in your room that tells you when breakfast is served, the pool bar is open, the menu of the pool bar, the time evening meal is served, the Wi-Fi code and password, the TV channel Guide, how to work the air conditioning, the pool rules, the beach information and other useful information. We were not told this information by reception staff. Overall good but could be improved very easily.

This was our first visit to Sardinia flying out from Manchester at the end of may to the hotel Cormarano in Baia. We new before going that our room would have no balcony but was impressed with our room finding it well decorated and clean. We stayed on bed and breakfast and had no complaints on choice and standard of cooking. The pool area was fine with plenty of beds and a pool bar which was a bit on the pricey side and took no cash so everything was signed for and paid at the end of our stay. Beware! Everything in the resort is quite expensive 33 euros for 2 loungers and a brolly on the beach and on average about 80 euros on an evening meal. Not much happening in the way of entertainment in the evening but the resort is really nice by day and our weather was spot on while we were there.
