"Just returned from a 2 night stay. The location couldn’t be better - it’s a short walk into Bakewell and next to the Woodyard restaurant which is lovely. Richard the manager was helpful and was on hand to answer questions. We stayed in a 2 floor house, which was well equipped, I would say that it could do with more info on the local area - when we stay at similar properties, there’s always a folder in hand with public transport, places to eat etc. There’s some signs of wear and tear - to be expected in a rental property that’s so popular, but the bathroom in one of the bedrooms could do with a little TLC, as the seals around the bath were quite mouldy. If you have an electric/hybrid car then there is a charger, but it’s not for guests to use, I think it’s for the owner of the property. There was an electric point outside which we asked to use, but were advised that the owner didn’t want people charging cars - ours is a hybrid so just needs a normal electric point. Would recommend for the location and the property was lovely."
