Chun'an Hotels with Balcony

I traveled to Qiandao Lake in late August and chose two hotels that were highly recommended. I had high expectations for Minghao and specially arranged to stay in the second one. The result was quite different from what I imagined. First of all, I was very satisfied with the room hygiene and facilities. It is a newly opened hotel. The sanitary napkins and shower room are separated, and the constant temperature shower is good. What I was not satisfied with was that the balcony of the third-floor room was blocked by a half-person-high wall, and the lake could not be seen from the house. Even now, the balcony is not high enough and is blocked by trees, so the view is not wide. It is recommended to choose rooms on the fourth floor and above. On the morning of the check-in day, the housekeeper called and added WeChat, and sent the arrangement of special summer activities and the business hours of various facilities. The content looked rich and colorful, but it was actually very special. Most of the parent-child activities were set up in a booth in the lobby. No one organized it, and no children participated. The form was greater than the content. The outdoor swimming pool that I was looking forward to was far away from the hotel lobby and could not be accessed indoors. It took a long time to walk under the scorching sun. The road was not separated by people and cars, which was very inconvenient, and it was only open in the afternoon. Some vouchers were given upon check-in, but they all have thresholds. The two free ice cream coupons also have a time limit. I didn't have time to use them in the end. I blame myself for not seeing the activity time clearly. The main playground is not as big as I imagined. I personally think it is less than 3,000 square meters, but it is enough to play. Many areas in it have empty shelves, the carousel is not always open, and the ground in the overall walking area is really hard. Five apples were given as souvenirs when I checked out. The attitude of the hotel staff is also very good, but there is always a feeling of being forced to operate, and I can't feel it from the heart. The overall feeling is that they want to build a high-end hotel, but they only achieve the form, not the spirit. It is not recommended for vacation.

I loved the lake view from my room, and highly recommend higher floors. The bathtub with the open view was also amazing,the beds were soft and sleek. However,I would not rate this hotel as 5 stars; the decor is quite old with its dark colours, a bit worn out wallpapers and quite old carpets in the corridor. It was very noisy with lots of families and their kids. Buliding 1 has two lifts only and you end up waiting and being squashed in a lift all the time. Coming down to breakfast restaurant was about strange as the lift takes you to the basement parking so one needs to go past the cars unless you want to walk outside the building.The breakfast was buzzing with too many people impatient to que politely. Most importantly, I really feel the front desk service needs a lot of improvement; I understand that nobody speaks English, we can use translators,but noone welcomed me properly and wished me a nice stay: my Alipay and passport only mattered. I was lucky with Xio Qian ( front desk boy) who offered to help and share the information about amenities and trips around the lake. I am very grateful to him. The gym in building 5 was a disappointment; One swimming pool is to be shared between 4 other buildings. Because it rained, the water was quite cold in the pool. Overall,this hotel would suit families and kids mainly,but i would not recommend it to single expats and certainly would not rate it as a 5 star hotel.

The king of cost-effective family travel! I took my baby to Qiandao Lake and lived here. Although the room was not big (about 25 square meters), the layout was super warm, the bedding was clean and soft, and our family of four lived just right. The only thing I want to complain about is that there is no wardrobe. The location is really amazing! Just next to the pier in the central lake area, you can take a boat tour of the lake in 5 minutes. Going out at night is the net red light street, the whole road is full of lights, the children are excited~ Breakfast is simple home-cooked, although there are not many varieties, but it is delicious. In general, more than 200 yuan live on the pier on weekends + clean rooms + convenient transportation, the price is really good! Suitable for small families who want to save money~

We stayed there in November 2023 and got an upgrade with a nice tub in the room. thank you. It was very nice. The only thing which was special for this room, was that the door to the balcony was not closed tight so cold air cold come in. The breakfast had an good amount of different food and was good. The staff was very nice also the did not speak English, but thats no problem.

A very satisfactory B&B. We went out with four adults and one child. We found a lake view B&B temporarily. The cost-effectiveness is too high. The scenery can be said to be small and beautiful. Our whole family loves it. We like to enjoy nature quietly like this. The three-day accommodation experience can feel that the boss is operating it carefully. Although it is not new, the hygiene is very good. Passing by the meeting room and seeing the content on the whiteboard further verifies that the boss is indeed doing a good job in the B&B. The name of the self-operated picky restaurant on the negative one is very nice, and the meals are full marks, whether it is breakfast or lunch and dinner, especially the dishes related to fish. The first night we ate one fish and two dishes. The braised fish tail was too tender. I never knew that the fish tail could be so fresh and tender, but at that time I just felt that the fish from Qiandao Lake was indeed well-deserved. The next day, I went to the city to eat a very popular restaurant and ordered fish heads. After a comparison, I realized that it was not the fish from Qiandao Lake that was delicious, but the fish from the picky restaurant was delicious. I will come again for the picky restaurant.

Xiao Wu at the front desk is friendly and provides enthusiastic service. Because we as a couple wanted to be quiet, the room was automatically upgraded for us. There was a courtyard in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows, and we could choose one of the large number of videos on the lift screen to watch 12 o'clock. Xiao Wu enthusiastically introduced the Qiandao Lake cruise options, and informed us of the location and time of taking a taxi or sightseeing tour bus. Then he also helped us book tickets, so that we and our husband could take a leisurely taxi there the next day and exchange tickets for the boat ride. In addition, because welcome fruit was given to the room, we didn't see that there was already one in the room, so Xiao Wu gave another fruit as a welcome gift. The breakfast was exquisite and the service was in place. After breakfast and returning from the cruise, we sat on the hotel's viewing balcony to enjoy the breeze and enjoyed two cups of coffee. Xiao Wu also let us take a leisurely stroll around Silk Street next to us and delay our check-out. At two o'clock, it is only a minute's walk from the Central Lake Pier next to it. If our daughter wants to visit Qiandao Lake via remote video, this hotel will be the first choice, especially if we ask Xiao Wu for help, all problems can be solved.

The nearby flowers are gradually opening, and people are in a good mood. The proprietress will introduce the surrounding routes suitable for hiking, and take oxygen while walking to get a good mood for a day. There are cute little rabbits in the store to feed, the room is in place, and the whole is still recommended.

Well, because I took an annual holiday, I chose a place with mountains and water by the lake. I also saw so many praises and came to the homestay. After I came, I felt like I came to the house of a very careful and kind relative in the countryside. First of all, let's talk about the environment. There is water in front, mountains in the back, and there are no noisy blocks on both sides, so it is very quiet. I like to sit on the swing at the door and blow the lake breeze and the cool breeze floating in the mountains. It is said that the weather in Hangzhou is 40 degrees, but if the sun can't get there, the electric fan is not needed. Too cool. Besides, indoors, the room really has nothing to say, the modern facilities and the scenery outside the window are really lingering, and the mattress is too comfortable. My sleep requirements are very high. Finally, the proprietress is really great, too careful, too considerate, and too service. She will also help with the children. The food made by the aunt is also delicious. The aunt also helps to wash and fold clothes. That is to say, coming here is equivalent to coming to a relative's house. We feel at ease. the Magician

The room was very comfortable and spacious for the family of 4 of us. Unfortunately the weather was against us and rained everyday whole day during our visit and couldn’t go do sightseeing by foot. The “guest bathroom” drain was releasing a very unpleasant stinky smell throughout our visit. Highly recommend to spend a few RMB and buy the drain smell problem solver (see picture attached). Promise it will solve the problem!! Installed it in all our apartments where we lived in China that had the same issue. Our daughter (and us) enjoyed the playroom even though the a/c systems did not allow warm air to heat the room (setting was on hot= 35 degrees Celsius, high speed, but never went over 15 degrees Celsius). Cleanliness could be looked at, lots of human hair lying around. Reception could possibly take an English course to accommodate non-Chinese speakers, but the language translator came in handy. Breakfast was mainly Chinese like. But good variety, shouldn’t go hungry.

In the season of spring, it is suitable for spring outings and lake tours. I opened Ctrip to compare prices and found Qiandao Lake New Century Resort, which has the best value for money in the off-season. The 5-star resort is located on the Qilin Peninsula and is surrounded by the lake on three sides. It offers an unparalleled lake view and is planned by top international architects and designers. It is high-end and classy. As soon as we got off the car, the doorman welcomed us with a smile. The front desk also received us with a smile and upgraded my room for free, from a view room to a lake view room, which surprised me. It was great. They also assigned me a housekeeper, a sweet girl from Taizhou. Her name is Yaya-7576. She is also very warm and thoughtful. She responds to all requests. I want to thank her here. I am very satisfied with her service. The hotel is very clean and hygienic. The breakfast has a wide variety of patterns and tastes great. I like her freshly ground coarse grain drink and red dates and longan drink the most. Drinking a cup of it is both beautifying and nourishing. Haha, I feel at home staying there. I can enjoy the sunrise and sunset on the beach of the hotel, which is very good. When I checked out, I was given a peace and joy gift package. I came here happily and left with satisfaction. I am very satisfied with this stay experience and will patronize it next time.
