We really enjoyed our first stay in Shaxi on my anniversary visit to Yunnan Province. Thanks to the fantastic service provided by Miss Yang and her incredible staff, we really enjoyed our two day stay. Originally we were only planning to stay one night but after a long trip to the nearby grottos, asked to extend one night which Miss Yang was kind enough to accommodate. This guest house/hotel is brand new and has many modern amenities including a hot water pot, refrigerator, free snacks and drinks and more. Everything was brand new and well taken care of and the staff was extremely helpful navigating us from parking to the hotel. The location is also very central to much of what Shaxi has to offer. The breakfast noodles were a real treat! We will stay here again next year.

I really like it here, it's beautiful and comfortable. The view from the second floor is very good. Standing on the balcony, you can still hear the singing coming from the Yujin Bridge. It's about a 3-minute walk from the ancient town. The breakfast and afternoon tea provided are home-cooked and delicious. For breakfast, you can drink coffee handmade by the staff. After drinking coffee made by machines in other accommodations for several days, it was a surprise!

It is very quiet in the small courtyard. Feifei, the housekeeper of the homestay, is very good, responsive, and takes good care of the guests' feelings. She will also send us an umbrella when it rains. Feifei always chats with everyone with a smile. It is really comfortable to chat with her, and she will also share the beautiful scenery and coffee shops of Shaxi with us.

There is no shortage of yards in Shaxi, it just depends on how you take care of them. The sound of the rain is not that loud, nor is it the best, but the taste is online. The courtyard is tidy and clean, and the pond of koi is also carefully designed. Praise the mousse mattress, it really is a good sleep. If you come by car, please park your car in the parking lot of the ancient city. The housekeeper will bring a cart to pull your luggage. It will take three to five minutes to walk to the courtyard. In the morning, it takes about ten minutes to walk from the courtyard to Yujing Bridge. You will pass by the stage on the way. Although the breakfast is simple, there are both Chinese and Western options. The rice noodles are okay, and the kudzu root powder and peach gum sweet soup in the evening is also delicious. The housekeeper of the courtyard is also very simple and friendly, and it is a place where people can relax.
