Bali Denpasar 4-star Hotels

I recently stayed at this hotel and had some real experience with the facilities and services, which are as follows: The overall cleanliness of the hotel is disappointing. Many places in the room are dirty and messy, and many equipments are rusty. There are obvious stains on the towels and bedding, which gives people an unclean feeling. More worryingly, the swimming pool and air conditioning were very dirty when we arrived, which affected the stay experience. The hotel's environment also has many problems. Only half of the windows in the rooms on the first and second floors are installed, while the other half are missing. Although mosquito nets are installed, they have long been worn and have holes, resulting in various insects being seen frequently in the room. In addition, the living room lacks air conditioning, which makes the room stuffy and pests are serious, which seriously affects the living comfort. In terms of service, the hotel performed well. The staff is friendly, enthusiastic, and willing to help, making people feel warm and welcome. There are some aging issues in the facilities. The equipment in the bathroom and kitchen has rusted and looks relatively old overall. In addition, the living room also lacks air conditioning, which is particularly inconvenient in hot weather. Overall, the hotel has some bright spots in terms of service, but there is still a lot of room for improvement in terms of hygiene, environment and some facilities. I hope the hotel management can improve these problems as soon as possible and provide guests with a more comfortable and hygienic accommodation environment.

I was given the room with 2 single bed combined even though I booked the room with a double bed. I would like to highlight the towels need to change. They look already old and should not give again for hotel guest. Mini fridge in the room was not working it make my food spoiled. Breakfast was not really good. I ask assistance from the hotel management about my issue through Trip.com customer service however they refuse to give a resolution. I'm quite disappointed with how they handle such situations.

I had a great stay overall at this hotel! The property is stunning and very grand, with spacious and comfortable rooms. However, I did notice a slightly unpleasant scent from the cleaning products used, which was a minor downside. The hotel is located further up the main road than I expected, and unfortunately, that road is not pedestrian-friendly. I only discovered on my last day that there’s a shortcut to the beach, which would have been great to know earlier—perhaps this could be highlighted better to guests. The breakfast buffet was impressive in size and variety, but I was disappointed by the lack of vegan options. Similarly, the room service menu didn’t cater to vegans, which limited my dining options. On one evening, I ordered food delivery, but the security policy meant the driver couldn’t enter the premises or leave the food with security. This required me to walk all the way to the gate to collect it, which was inconvenient. While I appreciate the need for security, I feel there could be a more guest-friendly solution. That said, the pool was absolutely fantastic, and the staff were consistently amazing—friendly, helpful, and professional. I also really enjoyed the live music in the evenings, which added a lovely touch to the overall experience. Despite a few inconveniences, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel.

Good: 1) big pool with kids slides and pool balls, different kids activities (air hockey table, pool table, movies, staff-directed activities etc) 2) breakfast buffet variety Poor: 1) mosquitoes in the room due to poor ventilation (surprised there’s no reviews that wrote about this) staff changed our initial 1st level 2 bedroom suite to 3rd floor but still mosquitoes present) my kids got bitten all over their face, arms and legs during the night :( affected our whole experience of Bali 2) musty smell in whole place 3) dusty and old furnitures with spoilt lamp 4) sudden electricity down as the staff is doing maintenance without prior notice

Good hotel in the middle of city. The rooms are not sound proof. You can hear neighbors voice. Beside that everything is good. With given prices it's worth staying here. Rooms are cold and clean.

The room smelled very damped but probably because it was off season and we got the cheapest room, so that’s what we got on getting 72$ for 3 nights. But however, we saw cockroaches too but didn’t complaint because we were too tired to pack again and move to another room. The rooms were spacious. We were in two rooms 324 and 322. The breakfast was ok the hotel was good and location was really good. However, wouldn’t be staying here again. Could find a better hotel next time but thank you guys for taking care of us for 3 nights!

Smooth check in. Room is clean and spacious. Bed is comfortable. Nice and peaceful environment. Location is not the most convenient one but we stayed there because it’s near to Sanur Harbour as we needed to take the ferry to Nusa Penida the next day. Breakfast is ok though not fantastic. Overall good!

Hotel bersih, fasilitas bagus, spacious. Ada pantry dan cutleries. Stove, water heater, fridge, microwave.. peralatan baru. Kamar bawah agak bau apek. Mgkn krn agak tertutupi pohon. Swimming pool cantik dan bersih. Dekat dgn pantai, dekat dengan cafe² kekinian di area pantai Matahari terbit Jika harus ke Bali pasti saya akan stay di hotel ini lagi

Aston Denpasar is simply amazing. It is now my resident hotel for my business trips. The rooms are huge and clean. The staff are simply amazing.

I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel and villas. There is amazing and beautifully up kept garden and foliage throughout the property, and the rooms are spacious with a nice bathtub with Balinese decorations. The staff was absolutely amazing and beyond courteous. I noticed that they not only remembered my name but also other guest names. There is also two beautiful pools to lay out and a five minute walk to the beach. 10/10!
