Environment: The hotel is surrounded by tropical rainforests, overlooking the terraced fields. It is quiet and peaceful, very suitable for a relaxing holiday. The hotel has two infinity pools and two restaurants. The lobby is on the sixth floor, with a wide view. The hotel is a little far from Ubud city, 45 minutes by car. The hotel provides 4 shuttle buses to and from the city every day.
Service: As a newly opened hotel, all the staff are very enthusiastic. When you check in, the front desk will take you to visit the hotel and introduce you to the hotel's restaurants and facilities. At breakfast, there will be staff asking you for suggestions on the hotel, which shows that everyone hopes to give guests the best experience. The hotel also provides some free activities, such as yoga, hiking, and local clothing experience.

JUNI, who took us to hike in the fields outside the village, was also very friendly and introduced us to many plants and local customs. There are many other warm and thoughtful waiters in the hotel like them, which made us feel warm and cared for in the hotel. The hotel is very new, so the equipment is well maintained. It would be better if the balcony could be wider and the swimming pool could be bigger. All drinks, alcoholic drinks and snacks in the minibar are charged, which surprised us, so it is suggested that it can be changed to free, at least free once during the stay, and then charged for subsequent supplements. Best place to stay in Bali with an incredible staff I have ever seen , it’s really disconnecting you from all surrounding and feel a great spirit of nature. If I am going to talk about Anantara staff I need more than 200 characters to tell how much everyone was above and beyond expectations. Sure we will come back soon

The journey to the hotel approximately 2-2.5 hours however along the way you may stop by to visit Ubud Art Market and Ubud Palace. Once arrived, they have a unique welcome ritual. A day of relaxing plus a day of tour would be the best combination. Breakfast was semi- a la carte which a menu for you to order plus some buffet items. They also have daily activities which you can enjoy if you would like for example yoga, ricefield jogging in the morning. A lot of walking needed for suitable for couples, friends.

This is a lovely hotel with a stunning jungle outlook, very secluded and very quiet on our visit. It is remote and took us about an hour to get to Ubud by the complimentary hotel shuttle van. There is not much to do onsite but we were happy to sit by the pool and soak up the views. Loungers by the pool are limited but so were the customers during our stay so we had no problems. We did not visit Amerta restaurant. Kirana was fine although wines and cocktails were high-end western prices. Shame they don't offer any of the cheaper Indonesian based wines. Breakfast was very good. We thoroughly enjoyed our short rice field and village walk which was one of the activities offered during our stay. We would have liked more opportunity to walk around the property through the jungle and around the valley so that we could have been more active. There was an expensive guided walking activity available but some walking paths to allow guests to explore the property would be good. The staff without fail , were smiling, helpful and attentive and very much focussed on helping their guests.
