Food and room are just fine but the service and facilities are very good. The location is very accessible with a lot of shops and spas nearby.

Beautiful resort albeit a bit older. Some rooms can be musky and smell moulds which take off the points, however the location is strategically located in Jimbaran beach and close to the airport, without being loud.

InterContinental Jimbaran is truly one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at. The location on Jimbaran Beach is amazing — a beautiful, clean beach perfect for swimming, and the resort offers a wide range of activities. The room, the grounds, and the staff were all excellent. The hotel is stunning, with multiple pools and beautifully maintained gardens.
Breakfast was delicious, but the only downside is that there are often queues in the morning. Another issue is the common problem with sun loungers: many guests “reserve” them early in the morning with towels and then disappear for half a day. Unfortunately, the staff doesn’t remove these towels, so it can be difficult to find a shaded spot even when loungers are actually unused. I really hope more hotels, including this one, will adopt the policy that prevents guests from reserving loungers this way — many five-star resorts are already doing it, and it makes such a difference.
Apart from this, everything else was simply wonderful. It’s a beautiful, luxurious resort that I would definitely recommend.

The InterContinental Bali is the perfect escape! It’s a private resort with direct access to the beach. The rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was fantastic with so many options. Many lounge chairs for sunbathing, a big pool to cool off in and incredibly friendly staff! Well worth the money.

Service and location are good - the only thing is the dampness of the room (other reviewers also seem to mention), might be due to the age of the property. My jeans were soaked from the beach, and it didn't dry for 2 days. Very very damp.

All hotel staff were tripping themselves to provide good service. From the doorman to reception to room attendant to waiters/ waitresses everyone went out of their way to provide the best stay possible. Never had any staff stopped tp greet or say hello whenever we passed by. The location of the resort also played a part in our choice. Close to seafood restaurants and essential amenities. The grounds were immaculate and was constantly attended to by an army of gardeners. We had nothing bad to say about our stay in the Intercon.There were a few hiccups like the light switches not working well and the air-conditioning not particularly cold. But this was to be expected considering the age of the resort. All in all the best value for money. Highly recommended and we will stay again.
