Located at the foot of Tunnel Mountain in Banff, 3-5 minute walk to downtown, the beach on the Bow river and the Banff Centre. The Cedar is the ideal, centrally located, private retreat after a full day of sightseeing, hiking, and skiing, or it can be your Banff hideaway where you can relax and have some down time. Two private, off street parking stalls at the rear of the property are provided! This host was terrifically helpful and responsive. The property is exactly as advertised and is very nice. It’s quiet and really close to Banff Avenue where the shopping and eating options are centered. We walked three short blocks and were right in the middle of everything. And the mountains are of course all around. It was easy to jump on the highway or a shuttle and head out to lakes and trails. We highly recommend this property.

Great location, and very comfortable, with off street parking and local info. Would not want to do much cooking in the kitchen, but there are plenty of restaurants close.

The Bakers' home is excellent - away from the craziness of Banff Avenue but walking distance to the restaurants and IGA. The home is a real home with all the comforts you would need - house slippers, bear spray, standing fans, kitchen utensils and condiments, etc. Shauna was also kind enough to immediately provide us any missing or things that we ran out of. The water pressure in the shower was great, and the beds were perfect for us.

Great spot right in town.
Lovely property just a couple of blocks from Banff Ave. Walking distance to everything. Quick access to art trail and Tunnel Mountain hiking trail. Wonderful views. Would definitely stay again. Shauna is a great host.

Great location in Banff!
This home was clean and spacious. Better than that though was the location within walking distance town and easy to get everywhere we wanted to go. We had an RV with us and had plenty of room to park it (we got prior permission from the host.). Shauna was quick to respond to us even when we texted her late at night. Highly recommend this place.
