The hostel is new and very nicely furnished. I was mistakenly assigned a room in a large apartment fully furnished (including kitchen and washing machine) for the first night, then I was moved to the deluxe room I had booked that is very spacious and very nicely furnished and decorated. Unfortunately there is a mistake in the add and toilet and bathroom are shared (the add says "private toilet" and "shared bathroom"). I decided to stay since the toilet is only shared with few more rooms and it is well maintained and clean. I left, though, two nights before intended, because in the night the toilet lock got stuck and I had to wait over one hour and call the police to be let out since the reception number stopped replying my calls. Considering the unpolite behavior of the night receptionist I decided to leave (first when I was in the wrong room he came to knock at my door at midnight to tell me to move to the other room , then ignored my calls while stuck in the toilet in the night).
The rooms (both) were a bit dusty but overall clean. The structure is on the second and third floor without a lift and with very steep stairs.
Other than my misadventures I would still recommend this place, is great value for money and located in the hearts of one of the best areas in Bangkok.

The place was unexpectedly great for its price. It's spacious and clean. Walking distance to Chinatown and about 10 to 15 minutes away from the travel spots in our itinerary. There's a restaurant downstairs and a 7-eleven near the stoplight. At night, there are also some cosy bars just 1 block away. Very convenient and accessible. 😊

Apart from the friendly request from the staff to give you a five-star review, there was dust in every corner of the room, no towels were provided, the water in the glass bottle had been there for who knows how long, and it seemed that the bed was re-made after check-out without changing the sheets.
This room also does not have an elevator, so is not suitable for travelers with luggage.

The room was clean and tidy, very comfortable, amazing. It was also equipped with a kitchen, microwave, washing machine, and refrigerator. The service was patient and thoughtful. A lot of snacks were sent, the welcome fruit was super sweet, and the juice was delicious. The Thai restaurant downstairs tasted great and cost-effective, especially the roast pork and noodles, which were so delicious, better than the mixed restaurant opposite the parking lot. The price was great value for money, and I would go there again next time. It was just that the location was a little difficult to find. There was a sign in the alley next to the restaurant, and then go up to the second floor. The service staff didn't speak Chinese very well, and had to use translation software to communicate. Everyone gestured to understand, which was very interesting. In addition, the washing machine upstairs kept washing clothes in the middle of the night, which was a little affected by sleeping next to the kitchen, but the room outside was very quiet and did not affect it.
