Lovely room and facilities, super kind and available members of the staff (happy to help any way they can, including indications for the transport, booking airport shuttle, offered to prepare me some takeaway breakfast when I told them I needed to check out before breakfast opening times). Water refill station available, as well as a little free library where travelers can exchange books. Good breakfast (included: jam/butter on toast, coffee, tea, fresh fruit, milk, cereals. Not included breakfast a la carte, it can be ordered on the spot). Breakfast is available also for walk-in tourists, so no need to stay at 4JLodge in order to have breakfast here. My praises to Dee Dee, Hnin and Bead, lovely staff members who made sure my staying was perfect!!!! Thank you ladies!

I arrived to this place with my boyfriend and it was hooked for 4 days . First of all the pictures you see on the internet are completely fake and the hotel for some reason is divided in different buildings(you never get in the one featured on the websites ) As soon as we arrived we notice how filthy the whole place was,no attention for details whatsoever ,insects everywhere ,coachroaches dining on the front desk (I m not even exaggerating ),regardless we decided not to say anything considering the acceptable price and the location.At this point someone came down to bring us to another building and refuses to help with the luggages and we still didn t complain Arrived to the other building the problems started . NONE of the people in there speaks English (not even the basic in case you need any help ) ,you get checked in by a woman that cannot understand one word you say which makes it kind of complicated even to just check in . Once arrived to the room I found yet again another bunch of cockroaches chilling around the bed ,2 miserable towels with blood stains (??!) and a smell that made us nauseous . Please keep in mind it wasn’t t our first time in Bangkok and we were not expecting anything luxurious ,but OH MY GOD this was a bit too much . Unfortunately because of health problems is very risky for me to use dirty towels etc and so I was already planning to leave early while still paying for the whole amount . Until I noticed something strange on the door …2 locks of which one was broken from the inside but possible to open only from the outside???!!!so I asked the guy in there if it was possible to have the key of the lock as obviously that looked pretty dodgy but comunications was impossible or maybe they pretend not to understand us ,but the feeling I had was really bad (me and my husband work online and we need to make sure no one touches our laptops otherwise we lose our job )and I thought why would you have a lock that only the owner can open ?what for ??! So I got finally tired and asked politely If I could just have a refund (through *********** or through them ,it didn t matter to me ) and they all went absolutely MENTAL. Someone at the reception called a girl who apparently is the responsible of this place and she started threatening g us and say if we were complaining more she was going to call her friends to take care of us ???! ***. Obviously we started getting worked up too at this point and the girl started taking picutres of us saying that she was going to send it to their friends to take care of us and that they were going to look for us all over Bangkok. So I told them to call *********** immediately as this was getting out of hand and the lady at the desk pretended to call a number that was *********** but turns out we were talking with a friend of hers that (as well)barely spoke English. I can keep going on with a few more things but the only thing I want to say is PLEaSE DON T GO THERE,is actually dangerous and is obvio
