Glenskirlie Castle Hotel

From start to finish we had an amazing stay. We took our friends to celebrate one of their birthdays and so glad we did. At reception the girl was just lovely, best check in we had in a while. Room was just lovely with great style, beautiful big comfy bed. Great to have a bathroom with a freestanding bath as well as walk in shower. Complimented with Mowlton Brown toiletries. Lovely wee bar with smashing friendly staff and nice outside area to sit in the sun. The food was so great we all had 3courses which is unusual for us and enjoyed every bit. Had after dinner cocktails back in bar again just brill. Breakfast was just fab too then a very friendly check out and big desire to return. I had read some reviews with things like no bar well can assure you that's wrong. Another said only choice of eggs at breakfast was scrambled again wrong as could choose scrambled, poached or fried. Defo be booking to return.

Amazing boutique hotel, lovely individual rooms. Restaurant provided really great options, we enjoyed both breakfast and evening meals over a 2 day visit. Small seating areas outside so nice in summer for a drink under the sky. Staff were really friendly, and accommodating.

First impressions were good with an efficient but very friendly check in. The lounge area & spiral staircase showed a lot of thought had been put into the decor. Our bedroom certainly did not disappoint , loved the artwork, shutters on the windows & latch on the toilet door to name just a few . Our evening meal was very good but we had to leave early so missed out on breakfast. All credit has to go to Lynne who worked very hard but was smiling, cheerful & chatty & made us feel very welcome. If I had to make a criticism it would be that we were unable to connect to the WiFi, although we did get a decent 4G signal.

We had a fantastic family Lunch with Santa. Really well organised. So welcoming. elf entertainment was brilliant as was Santa. They had a professional photographer taking pictures of the kids with Santa which you could buy very reasonably, some people buying multiple to give to family. There was also a selfie camera to take family pics at no extra cost. Timings were 1pm to 3pm but nothing was rushed and we weren’t rushed out the door at the end. Food was good and the kids meals were good size portions. All the staff were excellent. Will definitely be back.
