St Julian's Hotels with Bars

The hotel is absolutely new and beautifully designed. The rooms are spacious and luxurious, offering a truly comfortable stay. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. However, the hotel is located a bit far from the main attractions, which might require some extra planning for sightseeing. If you don’t mind the distance, it’s a perfect place to relax and enjoy a high-quality stay.

Obviously the best Hotel in Malta. Must explore the whole Dragonara at your own risk of course as it's the Big Sea, you also can just go snorkeling safely around the Maltese Ghemmuna Artillery battery, which became the Scicluna Family Palace after the Banking Reset of 1873 Greta Staff starting with Upama at the Green exotic stone desk, then was guided to my cozy room by Duty Manager Sandra who explained the hotel history and facilities, for the rest of my stay I was taken care off by the room attendees, so even if you decide to stay in the room it's also a nice place

The hotel has a nice view and the service is also very good. The only problem is that there is no charging port at the bedside. There are only charging ports behind the TV and next to the TV cabinet. The charging port behind the TV cabinet needs to move the cabinet out a little to use it, otherwise it is difficult to insert the conversion plug and the length of the original plug. The cabinet is very heavy and difficult to move. In addition, the shower bathtub in our room drains very slowly. I don’t know if it’s just ours or all of them, but we are too lazy to report it to the hotel. It might be useless to report it because our room was the only one available at the time (we booked a sea view room and thought it should be the view in Figure 2, but it was actually Figure 1. After we reported it to the front desk, they said that this was the only room. The view outside the other similar room was the parking lot and the sea in the distance, so I knew that this was the only room available) (Figure 2 is the view outside the corridor. It’s a balcony, but the balcony door is locked and we can’t get out) You can see that this hotel was built a long time ago and was renovated later, but the circuit was not changed

First the good, then the bad and finally the worst. The best: their employees, almost all of them are superb. The bad: they have some estrange (and IMO abusive rules) like charging 25€ for every keycard that is lost. Hey, a keycard is 0.20€ worth, what’s the reason for charging x100 the value of it? Even in most places they don’t even pick them up upon check-out. The worst: its supposed to be an Adults Only hotel. Well, it is, except in the place where you wouldn’t like to see them at all, in the SPA! There are children in the SPA of an only adults hotel (which spa rules don’t allow) and when you ask it’s “management decision”… And! It’s a new property, one year open now, and their lifts work backwards (if you call them to go up, they will stop going down, so you’ll see many people in the lifts doing strange stops and delaying other guests). One whole year and they didn’t even thought about turning the call button the way around? Will I be back? Depends on the price, this time the value for money paid was very good so maybe if I find the same offer I will, if not… I wouldn’t pay extra

The best choice for accommodation in Malta! The rooms are spacious, the hotel facilities are well maintained, the service is thoughtful, and there are many food options downstairs and around the hotel. It takes about 15 minutes by taxi from the old town of Valletta, and Uber is about 10 euros. It is much more cost-effective and comfortable than living in the old town of Valletta.

I HAVE LOVED MY STAY. First time visiting Malta, booked the room last hour and I did not regret. The hotel was beautiful, and I booked the lower categorie room, still was amazing. It is located in the heart of the party district, so if you are in Malta to party. It is ideal. Very silent rooms, great space, comfortable bed. If you are planning a more sexual adventure trip, the ceileing mirrors and some fun chains in the room might help you out with the fun. Either you go with someone or want to meet someone in the island just for fun. The Spa and piscina are fantastic and a great place to relax or even start the day. The breakfast buffet options were awesome and everything was freah and delicious. St. Julian's it is also very central in Malta, so if you want to plan and travel around, the location is fantastic to be able to see so many other places in the Island. When it comes to the service and staff. Everyone was impeccable. From the reception team, to the security, to the waiters and even the cleaning team. Everyone was always very nice and helpful. Met Sandra, on my arrival, and coincidentally she was also working 3 days later when I was checking out, She did a great job. The Hugo's group have a few more of their places around, Hugo's Pub, Bacco by Hugo's, the Hugo's Burger and others, but these were the ones I also checked out and again, everything was great. I tolally recommend a stay in here. 10 out of 10 for me.

The facility is well maintained despite it has some age. The staff is polite and friendly. Food is good especially it has a Thai restaurant in it and the Avenue which is very reasonably priced with lots of options. The sink in the bathroom is clogged so the water fades slow. During the day, the room upstairs may have furniture movement that creates quite a bit of noise. The surrounding district has lots of bars and therefore the streets are not super clean. But the location of the hotel is next to the sea and within hotel premise it’s very comfortable.

Hotel is located at the center of St Julien city. Here you can find a lot of restos and shops on any taste. Pool is located on 10-th floor. Nice view is available there.

So City hotel is in the centre of St Julian’s party hub. It’s surrounded by clubs and restaurants and cafes. My room was on the ninth floor watching on the other side of the noisy neighbourhood so it was calm with windows closed. When I opened windows I could hear everything like I am in the club. Room was nicely decorated and quite spacious. It could be more clean - I found some blemishes on duvet cover, looked like stains from makeup that couldn’t wash out. Also found some hair in the bathroom. Considering that water is not drinkable in Malta, they should offer complimentary water bottles for each day of staying- instead they give you just 2 half litre bottles for the whole staying. More than that you must buy. Also they offer just 2 coffee capsules for the whole staying- more than that you must buy. Breakfast was nice with lots of choices for eggs and omelettes, with additional continental breakfast items like toasts, butter, spreads, cheese and ham, some fresh fruit, and different kinds of pastries. Also they offered numerous juices and types of “milk”. It was fulfilling and cheap. Dining area is really nicely decorated with high ceilings and nice wall decors. Staff at the reception was great and helpful. Overall for that price it was 4/5.

The location is in the midst of the nightlife in St Julian's, so expect some noise flowing over to the rooms. You can mitigate this by asking for a room that faces away from the hustle and bustle, but just that this will then not have any views. Service wise was good but could be better - I was going to move over to the Intercontinental after my stay here and considering that both hotels are under the IHG group, I had expected them to help with the move. However they asked me to reach out to Intercontinental on my own.
