Once again, the staff were very hospitable and helpful, always with a smile. The facilities are just as clean as at the other location, which shows great consistency. The atmosphere was equally pleasant, ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring. Its location is excellent for getting around the area, and the price is still very affordable. This is my go-to hostel from now on.

I stayed in this hostel a week ago with 3 of my friends. When we arrived, we were shocked to see our room. A tiny bedroom with two bunk beds and no space for four us to stand together. Bedsheets we’re dirty along with the mattresses. The lockers seen in the pictures are not there anymore, only a huge roll out drawer underneath the bunk beds. Staff didn’t seem to know how to deal with issues or complaints. Was told the “boss” would come the next morning to attend to our complaints and never did. The “outside terrace” was run down and closed at 9pm along with the kitchen closing at 11pm. I understand noise at night can be annoying, but you don’t automatically become full at 11pm. Toilets were tiny, shower was fine. Had to ask for air conditioning to be turned on multiple times, and we returned one night our bedroom door unlocked when we triple checked that it was locked before we left. The nice window/balcony seen in the pictures we’re not apart of our room (which we had expected), we only had a glass door/window that led to buildings on either side and had no natural sunlight or air. If we had left the window open during the night, it was accessible from the bathroom, anyone could come in. Hostel is located at the bottom floor of an apartment complex and the door to the hostel was always left open. Felt very unsafe and unclean staying at this hostel and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone to spend over €300 on this place, or any money at all.

No solo es económico, sino que la calidad del servicio y las instalaciones superaron mis expectativas. Lo primero que noté fue lo limpio que está todo, desde las áreas comunes hasta los dormitorios. Se nota que se esfuerzan por mantener el lugar en óptimas condiciones. El personal merece una mención especial. Son excepcionalmente atentos y serviciales. Me dieron un montón de consejos sobre qué visitar y cómo moverme por la ciudad, lo que hizo mi viaje mucho más fácil y divertido. Su calidez hace que el hostel se sienta como un pequeño refugio.

Albergue muy acogedor, relajante, tranquilo y limpio. Bien ubicado, cerca de todo lo que necesitaba, fácil accesos y agradable. Recomiendo sobre todo por la atención del personal y propietarios, super majos, responsables y atentos en todo momento!

Après un accueil agréable, quelle fût notre stupeur quand la réceptionniste nous a indiqué notre chambre... Derrière le desk... Le placard à ballets.... Sans parler des bruits de la chasse d'eau des WC et de la "salle de bains" attenantes. Avec une odeur d'égout dans la chambre. Les parties communes étaient mal entretenues. Porte de douche qui ne fermait pas, carrelage cassé et pas de lumière au plafond mais un vieux lampadaire pourri. Les produits du petit déjeuner sont de basses qualité. Aucun plaisir gustatif. I will be honest, I am a pretty tolerable traveller but I urge everyone not to stay here if you value safety or privacy. We had to check out early…. There is no window to daylight, the room will remain dark until there is artificial light. The female shower door doesn’t even SHUT let alone lock. Two showers in one room and that was it. No privacy at all. Would have to take off all your clothes in the shower with the door shut if you wanted any privacy. Which was all waterlogged (including the floor). Not even enough room for all 4 people in one room to be in there at the same time if they’re not literally in bed. The communal spaces all close relatively early so you would have to just go to bed. The worst bit, is there are no real lockers. All your stuff is in a drawer under the bed with only a mattress protecting it (which can be lifted up). There are massive grates and I could fit my arm in it down to my elbow. Could have pulled anything out easily. If someone wanted to steal something, they would. Meant you had to have everything on you at all times which is not ideal in Barcelona. Not to mention, it was just dirty in general. Chewing gum on the bunk beds, flies everywhere and stains up every wall. I would really urge anyone not to stay here especially if you’re a female. There is no monitoring of who is staying there, anyone could walk in.
