Barrydale Karoo Lodge - Boutique Hotel

Stopped in while passing through Barrydale and was pleasantly surprised! We only stayed for refreshments, but the vibe was relaxed and welcoming. The milkshakes were top-notch – thick, creamy, and just what we needed after a long drive. What really stood out was the free Wi-Fi – properly fast, not just a token connection. It made it easy to check socials and post some pics. Makes a big difference when you're on the road and relying on mobile data. Would definitely swing by again if we're in the area – great little spot to recharge (in every sense).

My stay at Barrydale Boutique Hotel was outstanding. The staff were friendly and professional, the facilities were spotless and well-maintained, and the atmosphere felt both homely and comfortable. Absolutely loved my stay at the Barrydale Hotel! 🌿 The staff are super friendly and go out of their way to help you feel at home. Manager Wayne is full of enthusiasm and local knowledge. Be sure ask him about what to do in Barrydale - he’s got amazing tips. Ask him about the early morning swim in the river (just after 7am...) and the mountain bike rides in the area. I originally planned to stay just one night but ended up extending - this place really has something special. A beautiful little escape with lovely people and great energy. Totally worth a visit! 💫
